Good location between Firenze & Pisa

What we liked most was the excellent location. After long days on our feet the train dropped us almost at the front door. Rooms are small, but very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful time of rest there. I would recommended it to anyone who wants to see Florence and Pisa and only want to stay in one place.

Perfect Location

Lovely family run hotel ideally located opposite rail station in Empoli. Ideal for visiting Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Sienna by train. Great value compared to city hotels. Empoli a lovely historic town a short walk from hotel. Breakfast inclusive with a buffet of cold meats, breads, pastries and lovely coffee.

We found the management of the hotel to be wonderful, friendly and very helpful on giving us guidance of where to eat and shop. They even went to the trouble to ring some of the business to assist us. The hotel is so close to the station and is about 25 min to Florence. The rooms are very comfortable warm and breakfast is a treat. Can’t recommend it highly enough, we loved 4 days here.

As a solo traveller wanting to explore Tuscany, this hotel is perfectly placed for train and bus. Charming brother and sister giving help and advice if needed. My single room a bit small for a week, but all clean and nice bathroom. Thoroughly enjoyed my week there.

Accessible to Florence without the crowd

Exactly as described in the listing. 1 min walk from the Empoli train station. Gorgeous central super convenient and picturesque area. The front desk staff is wonderful especially Niccolo. Great eateries around. I'll definitely be visiting again. Easy and painless check in and check out. Rooms consistently smelled clean. Great water pressure and heat.

Comfortable, very clean room

Room was well sized and clean. Comfortable for a few nights stay, with very easy access to Empoli city centre and the train station. The hotel staff were very attentive and accommodating - ensuring room was cleaned prior to our return (we had a couple of days where we went out for breakfast and were heading out to a wedding in the afternoon - they very kindly accommodated us!). Room cleaning was exceptional for this sort of hotel and very friendly. Spoken English was good. Nikolo was excellent and very helpful with taxis etc. We witnessed the air conditioning units receiving a deep clean, which seemed to be part of the usual cleaning service which was impressive.

The perfect location, directly opposite the train station. Check in was friendly, everything clearly explained. The room was spacious with a large window so plenty of natural light. Breakfast was a very good range of traditional Italian fare, served with a smile. Returning at night, the front door is locked at 2230 though access is gained through the key fob. Very happy with my stay.

The only thing I didn’t like, which is normal for Italy is reusing the towels. When we left a dirty towel in the floor- it was placed back in the cabinet. Another thing, the bed is very uncomfortable.

Charming hotel & staff that cannot do enough!

This hotel was perfect for what we needed. We were arriving for a wedding and needed somewhere clean and updated but reasonable to stay and this hotel exceeded our expectations. Our flight was delayed to Pisa and we missed the last train to Empoli, but thankfully I had emailed the hotel ahead of time incase of such an incident and they were beyond helpful, which felt like one last thing to worry about whilst we were stranded in Pisa in the early hours of the morning. So despite eventually getting to our hotel hours later than expected, they had anticipated every doubt or confusion we may have had getting into the hotel in their instructions, which made our arrival so hassle free. Check in was such an ease! Plus the owner and breakfast staff were so welcoming and charming. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful and easy experience! What a wonderful start to our holiday!

Hotel très bien situé . Notre chambre étais un peu petite et le sol n'était pas propre à coté du lit il y avais du sable. Par contre la chambre de nos amis était très bien grande et propre. Personnels très sympathique et très bon accueil.
