This is an older "Motorlodge" type motel. I like that you can park right outside your room and keep an eye on your car. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The tub had some rust around the drain but was clean (the water was HOT!). The gentleman at the desk was helpful and friendly. The only downside was that, like a lot of hotels, the walls are thin and noise comes right through them. The guy next door to me had the TV on and you could hear it in my room, outside his room through the door, even though the building itself is brick. And when his alarm went off at 4:30am I thought it was in my room! I even looked outside to see if the noise was coming from the parking lot. And he didn't wake up and shut it off until I started banging on the wall! The motel is right off I-95. That end of Emporia doesn't have the amenities of the other exits on the north side, but the area is building up near the interstate. I will stay here again when I travel through the area.

For the price it was an excellent place. I don’t understand when people pay a small price and expect 5 starts hotel. It has everything you need when you are driving long distance you only need a clean place with a comfortable bed. Relatively quiet, you don’t hear the Highway. And first time I pay a budget hotel that the refrigerator works. The staff very very friendly and nice people. Will go back again.

The place was horribly rundown and not very clean. I should have left, but after traveling all day, I was too exhausted. There was paint, peeling everywhere. The room had a disconnected smoke detector. The ceiling in the shower was so bubbled and cracked, I was afraid it would come down on my head. The towels and linens appeared clean, but were stained. I have to say, the place really needs some serious attention.

How pleasantly nice.

It was the most reasonable 3* motel we could find. We were pleasantly surprised how nice it was and accommodating for our 2 dogs. Definitely recommend

Not bad for an easy sleep. There’s nothing in the area nobody Ubers or DoorDash is to the hotel but if you need a quick night sleep, it’s not bad for the price.
