「Our family enjoyed a long weekend here and had a wonderful time. The house was super clean and very well equipped. The host is so easy to work with and stayed in good contact with us. I would definitely recommend this house.」

「Good value for the price.」

「The phone charger didn't work.」

「Check in was easy. Room was very clean, you can tell this hotel has been updated recently. Bed was comfy. Room had everything I needed. Breakfast the next morning was very good as most Hamptons are. Eggs, bacon, waffles etc.」

「The room wasn’t as bad, it truly wasn’t dirty. I just wiped down and brought my own sheets just in case but honestly it was pretty clean! The staff was nice, there was breakfast like cereal and a waffle maker and coffee but we didn’t use it. There was restaurant and shopping really close which was nice. We stayed here to go to the talladega race, it was only an hour from the race track and we were able to take back roads to miss traffic. Overall a great stay for a short weekend trip! We’d stay...

「My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and the lake is beautiful. Hosts are very nice. We plan on coming back.」

「Charged fees for changing dates weeks in advance, wanted to charge for people coming to the property to visit. Little privacy, owners constantly around the property, was not the place we were looking for.」

「We really enjoyed our weekend at the boathouse. We were able to meet the owners as they lives next door. Amazing people, very welcoming. Will definitely be booking again!」

「The home was very clean and perfect for our weekend getaway!」

「Great place! Great host! Very communicative host who saw to everything. Lovely property with a great kitchen and back deck area! Close to everything we wanted to do on Lake Martin. Our second year at this place, and looking forward to next year!」

「We sooo loved our stay! Infact, after the very first night we extend our stay for another day!!! It was our best family vacation so far. We swam for hours (my 7 year old, 4 year old & I) off the deck while my husband was fishing and kayaking around! We later on all went kayaking! We played board games & cooked, we drove an hour to majestic caverns to see that, went to bass pro, dg was just like 3 miles down the road so if we really needed something we could go there, walmart was about 25 mins in...

「Owner was very responsive and nice. House looks like it was in the middle of being renovations that ended up abandoned. There is scrap wood, paint cans, and debris in every closet and around the exterior of the house. There is one remote that operates all three televisions in the house, so you cannot watch TV individually. Shower is also very stained and looks filthy. The location is very nice, beautiful views from the front of the house, and well located for local stores and eateries.」
