The bath linens were worn and thin. The room was sufficiently clean but could probably use a deep cleaning. It looked up to date with other Red Roofs I have stayed in recently. The clientele was very loud into the night and into the early morning hours. Near traffic and train tracks so if you don’t like noise when you’re sleeping not the best option. It was very reasonable in pricing and convenient for the activities we were attending.

Here you are in Erie, PA. These strips malls have seen better days. The abandoned "Red Tomato" restaurant next door is proof of this. But lucky for you, you've chosen The Red Roof Inn PLUS+ and the staff will greet you and offer you water. Even when our room had not yet been cleaned, they quickly moved us to a new room and gave us a gift basket of fritos and a granola bar. Such kindness along the road goes far. This establishment is in a walkable area. As in, you can technically walk anywhere because traffic dies out around 8pm. The sounds of the nearby highway washed over me like white noise as I pleasantly drifted off to sleep.

Solo traveler here who stayed a couple days in Erie. I've chosen this hotel a few years in a row when visiting and it's perfect for my needs. Free parking, only about a 15 minute drive to the beaches on Presque Isle, and easy walking distance to all of the downtown and bayfront amenities. Clean room, staff is always very friendly and helpful, spacious fridge, microwave. If all you need is a clean, safe, and reliable place to stay while visiting the area, this is the perfect choice.

Staff was amazing! At check in I yawned and they immediately asked if I wanted a cup of coffee. Check in was easy. Staff very friendly. The area around the hotel seems a little sketchy but the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Smith at the front desk went above and beyond at check out. Gave me a bottle of water and treats for the ride. Very friendly.
