The Little House
The modern conveniences of The Little House sharply contrast the old-fashioned construction. Original rough sawn ceiling joist are exposed, with the builder's layout marks clearly visible on the ceiling highlight the main living area where you can relax on the sofa. Along with the flat-screen TV, scorching fast 1 gigabit per second fiber internet (1000 Mbps) is available for streaming.
The space
After a day of exploring the mountains or desert around Escalante, wash the trail dust off in a warm shower and let your muscles recover during a peaceful nights rest on the queen size bed. Open the windows at night to experience the 30-40 degree cooldown from the warm temperature of the daytime and the night sounds of a rural community. View the expanse of space from the back patio. When hunger strikes, the well-equipped kitchen boasts a to-scale fridge, range, microwave, sink, and plenty of dishware, so it won't be a struggle whipping up some of your favorite recipes in this small space. In the morning, make yourself a pot of coffee and head outside to watch the sunrise paint the walls of the Escalante River canyon or surrounding mountains.

The property was wonderful! We had everything we needed. We used The Tiny House as our base camp to visit Capitol Reef NP and many of the SPs and byways and overlooks. The owner is very friendly and stays on top of any concerns you might have.

Super cosy cottage in a friendly peaceful little town. Some advice for renters - don’t bring too much food, there isn’t a great deal of storage space and there are plenty of places to buy food in town. Clothes storage - there are some coat hangars but nothing else, so again, travel light. But apart from those comments we would totally recommend the house to others, it was very well equipped, comfortable, clean and peaceful and a short walk to a great restaurant on the main road in a sweet super friendly historic town.

Beautiful and romantic
We loved this little house. Had anything and everything we could have needed. Our host was so helpful, responsive, and sweet. I loved how homey and cozy this felt for us but still had plenty of room for us to set up our big suitcase open and still move around and use the whole place. The bathroom is tiny but has everything you could possibly need. So many amazing restaurants near by too. We loved breakfast burritos from magnolia kitchen and incredible sourdough from excalante outfitters highly suggest this place

We spent a few days exploring the slot canyons in the area. The Tiny House was a great base location and worked fine for the two of us. It would have been nice to have a couple more chairs for when friends stopped by.

We were in escalante for the weekend to hike and the little house was perfect for us ! It had everything we needed and was nice to come back to at the end of the day.
