“The unit was clean and ready to go, once we found it. We arrived after dark and could not find it but Silver, the host, met us at the entry of this gated community and escorted us up. We own a place on St Croix but it was rented to others so we needed a place to stay for a week. This unit is convenient to the east end restaurants and there are 3 beaches within a 5 minute drive. The unit is huge and could use some more furnishing but the basics were there. We only did breakfast at the unit……

“When I arrived the owner came out and showed me exactly where to go. The apartment was small but just what I needed. It was clean, smelled nice, and I appreciate the nice touch of having gentle music and scenery on the TV monitor. Great stay. A couple of unexpected, but friendly dogs were nearby, eager for a pat on the head. All good!”

“Very out of the way remote stay, extremely small accommodations, the bed is a converted couch, although clean, air conditioning keeps the room a little cool, the road in is not for the faint hearted, not easy to say the least, property is very old, bathroom light is a pull chain, property says breakfast included, that means you get cereal and milk in your refrigerator, not a sit down meal like all other places! The bed only has a sheet to sleep on, no blankets, and bring extra toilet paper,……

“The beach area was accurate. The condo was not clean, there was mold growing in the shower and the bathroom door and floor obviously had water damage and was coming off. The toilet had not been cleaned thoroughly. The listing stated that the kitchen appliances were new and the sofa was new, but that was also not the case.”

“A perfect property to stay out of the way with a great view. The breeze kept the apartment comfortable the whole week, without needing fans or AC. It seems like miles away from everything, but it was only a 10 to 20 minute ride to anywhere we wanted to go. Cane bay beach was a perfect, close getaway. The directions provided by the host were spot on. We found that putting “Concordia Ridge Neighborhood”(Christensted) into Google maps got us back home easily. King size bed was comfortable as was……

“Very spacious, well decorated, comfy beds & couch, lots of privacy, quiet, just lovely. Only big drawback was that it was not clean, but he's hiring a new cleaning company, so that should be taken care of for the next guests.”

“the location was realky convenient and the condo had all the things we needed to make for a cozy and relaxing getaway for me and my husband. we especially loved being able to open the patio and listen to the waves crashing. the security staff was really friendly and our host was great at communicating. ”

“We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!”

“Adorable home right in town. Very clean and lovely decor. The outdoor shower was a huge hit, and we loved the sharing bar. The location is great / you can walk everywhere. ”
