「An absolutely amazing place with stunning views and a wonderful host—the best in Fairbanks! The location is perfect, just a short drive from Ester Dome for viewing the Aurora. The Scandinavian-style interior is both beautiful and luxurious. The hosts were very thoughtful, providing games for all ages, which my son especially enjoyed. 「We weren’t expecting luxury…it was a good price for a humble place to lay our heads for a couple nights. But the toilet needed to be flushed when we arrived and simple things weren’t provided - there was a coffee pot but no filters, we had to buy our own toilet paper because less than a full roll had been provided. When we needed other supplies, and requested help thru the apps the owner never responded.The internet worked fine and there were room darkening curtains, which we really appreciated....

「This was the perfect getaway for my partner and I. It was small but quite comfortable! We only used the shared bathhouse for restroom needs, which was clean for the most part but as the water was running, we did notice a sulfur smell. Not sure if this is normal for the area or for how the vacation homes are set up, but something to be aware of. Overall, it was a great experience and I also want to mention that the bed was THE most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept on while on vacation! 」
