「What a great place. A short distance to both downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain Park. Look out over gently rolling Fall River and listen to it while sleeping. Isolated even though close to everything. Well appointed except for the kitchen. But who comes to Estes to cook. The hosts were congenial and helpful and right on sight. We were here in May but hope to come back in the summer or fall.」

Nestled in the mountains, we had amazing views, including several wildlife visitors like elk, magpies, and bunnies right outside our doors. 「This property is located at the end of a residential street in Estes Park, but we were surprised and pleased with the level of privacy and isolation. From every window, there is a lovely vista of trees, foothills, and boulders, but the only house you can see from the cabin is the other small vacation rental house on the same plot—and the entrances are oriented to ensure privacy. Basic accommodations for two travelers, plus fun extras like a hot tub, fire pit, and TV/DVD player. If you like...

We would have liked a bigger table in the dining room, there was only a small table with two chairs in the back room to eat our meals. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots and pans, lots of utensils and knives were sharp! Beds were comfortable and extra blankets were provided.」

「This was a very nice property. The bed was comfortable, and the unit had plenty of living space. It is the basement level of a home, and the homeowners live upstairs. They do have 2 small children, which wasn't noted in the property description, so be aware that you may hear some crying and squealing.」
