Secluded cabin for a romantic getaway weekend. Everything was wonderful. We were in cabin 6, and the view didn’t appear to be as good as the other cabins, but still very pleased overall with the whole experience. We will be back.

We reserved a suite that stated it had a jetted tub AND a private hot tub but it did not have a hot tub - only a jetted tub. I always like an outside hot tub and was disappointed that was not the case. Also had lots of steps to a third floor room I wouldn’t have booked if I knew there were that many stairs, we are 67 and 68. Decor was out dated with mauve tiles and countertop and floral tile looking walls in bathroom. A recent rain had washed ruts in short gravel road leading to the property. Positives were the view from the deck and the cleanliness. Loved the log cabin and wood bed.

The property and room were absolutely amazing. The view from the cabin was breathe taking as promised. We were greeted by Wayne who was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. I highly recommend this place and we definitely plan to return.

Beautiful view of Beaver Lake. Peaceful and quiet. Cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. Enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi tub, porch swing, and watching the different kinds of birds feeding at the feeder. Also saw a fox and rabbit walk by.

Beautiful property! Wayne, in the office, Is a charming man! He was accommodating and a delight to speak with! He made excellent dining recommendations and was able to get us into our room 2 hours early! We didn’t ask for that. We just wanted to k ow where we could get a good bite to eat for lunch.

The vibe is rustic and private, and the view of Beaver Lake from our deck was spectacular. It's a little secluded, which we really liked. You do have to drive a little to get to some of the more touristy areas, but we knew that, and we thought it was nice. It was lovely being away from the more trafficked areas at night and sitting on the deck looking at the stars. We were there for four nights, and our check-in was completely remote and easy. We received detailed instructions via email, including where to find the key. It was very private, which was perfect. The rooms are not cleaned during your stay, unless you call and request it, but that is all explained in the provided instructions. There was a phone number where we could call if we wanted fresh towels or anything else, but we were fine using the same ones, so we didn't need to call for anything. This is important because, while there is an office, it was always locked and we never saw anyone there. You have to call if you need anything. The photos on the website look gorgeous, but they also look like they might have been taken a long time ago. The place could do with a little updating, but it was clean. The bathroom is tiny - just barely big enough for a sink, toilet, and shower, but no tub. If you want a bath, you have to use the jacuzzi in the middle of the living room/kitchen/bedroom (kind of awkward placement, to be honest). We didn't spend much time in the room anyway, and it was certainly adequate.

The cabin had a rustic woodsy vibe a perfect fit surrounded by Oaks. A cozy semi private porch gives a comanding stellar view of the lake and the tree at sweet D has tiny birds that come down and beg ya to feed them. The room was very clean well stocked. The tv could use a sound bar and the couch and toilet both need a 6" lift kit. Way too low for bad knees. The shower would be better with a hand held unit. Last gripe, move the smoke detector. The toaster sets it off. Made me slop my coffee when it went off. But for the scenery, tranquility, the little birds and the price. It's worth the trip.

Perfect getaway with awesome view

We stayed in a private cabin that was very spacious, clean, with the rustic look of a mountain resort lodge with every luxury we could imagine. Breathtaking view from high above Beaver Lake. Pet-friendly so we were able to bring our Sheltie who also felt right at home with so much space to roam inside. Maybe the most quiet, relaxing vacation we've ever taken.
