Peaceful Hideaway

The Hosts Jill & Andrew were brilliant always there if needed. Oak lodge was all you could ask for, 5 star accommodation, a super hot tub on the decking overlooking the fish stocked lake. So relaxing watching the fish surface and jump. Alpacas in the fields beyond and lovey views beyond them. No noise of cars, crowds or music, you are back to Nature If you're looking to get away from it all this is the place.

Going the Extra Mile

TL;DR: If you're looking to visit Exeter / Devon then you should absolutely consider staying here. From the moment of booking all the way through to our final day of the booked weekend, this property has been nothing short of spectacular. Jill (property owner) was incredible in helping me surprise the girlfriend with an incredible flower arrangement from a local florist, and was always available to assist with any concerns or queries we had for the duration of the stay. The property itself was immaculate, with amenities and appliances fit for cooking and living in style. The hot tub was always a suitable temperature and incredibly relaxing after long & cold wars around Dartmoor. Travel into Exeter/Topsham was simple either by driving or by arranging a taxi with a local firm - something that (again) Jill was incredibly helpful in offering & setting up. 5/5 from me - already considering our next trip back!
