The size of the room was excellent, as were the staff. Unfortunately the rooms and plumbing systems really need updating. The Hotel is in a very good location and we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic hotel near lovely beach set in Acres of lovely well maintained grounds Including heated outdoor pool and putting Green hotel a little dated but kept in excellent condition food excellent within easy reach of town

First time staying. The main hotel is a character building, with rooms that are clean, and well proportioned. While they are a little dated, they are well maintained. The staff are friendly, and our breakfast was great.

Great location, very friendly, a would stay again.

A great location, with on site parking and lovely gardens. Arrived quite early but were able to check-in. The receptionist was very friendly and informative - a real credit to the hotel. Pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an apartment rather than the double room we had booked. The apartment was very spacious, with it's own private balcony. Whilst the furniture & decor was quite dated, it was all in good working order and the room was clean. Had intended to make use of the hotel facilities but didn't in the end - though they did look very good.

Great place for a holiday

We loved staying here, particularly the use of the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna. Comfort and facilities are good, the staff friendly and helpful but it was rather low on water pressure for showering.

Lovely hotel and lovely, welcoming staff, great value for money with an indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi. A little dated but this added to the charm. Only negative was that the beds were too hard. Amazing location and gorgeous views. Would definitely go back.

I was very surprised to have been given a suite during my stay. I was impressed with the staff and cleanliness of the hotel. The decor is now becoming extremely dated, but I could find no fault with how clean everything was.

Staff all friendly and attentive. Good choice for breakfast Romms dated but clean. I would say the place really needs some renovation. Oh gardens are very lovely I would mention that if you prefer to leave you car at the hotel it is about a 15 minute walk into town. Downhill or flat most of the way meaning uphill coming back so not to good if not reasonably fit

Weather was raining then hailstone's very windy but that didn’t bother us we were there to celebrate a dear friend’s life after he passed away The hotel could do with some modernisation the staff were great very friendly and helpful it’s nice and quiet where the hotel is and just a stone’s throw from the town
