Relax and rejuvenate with a luxurious glamping experience in the woods. Off the beaten trail - Enjoy a beautiful lake-view, deluxe RV travel trailer, and amazing site for star gazing. Feel free to use the spa near the pool!

You can lay low and cook all your own meals or eat right around the corner at Walker's Bluff.

Our goal is that you leave refreshed after spending time in nature and in the beautiful wildflower camper.

Some of our favorite hiking sites in Southern Illinois are not far away and if you want to hit the wine trail you can begin just minutes away!!

Cozy up with the book you have been meaning to read or binge on movies - just leave the stress behind!

Hangout by the campfire- in fact, keep a fire going all day!

Peaceful Getaway

Owner was great, upon arrival had upgraded us to one of the motor homes with a private hot tub. Everything was clean and exactly as it was in the pictures on the listing. Swimming pool was also clean and wonderful to enjoy in this crazy heat! My husband also enjoyed some fishing on the property. Thanks for a trouble free stay!

Great weekend away

Secluded getaway close to the casino

Stayed here for an evening in order to go to an event at the casino. It was really close and a lot more affordable than a hotel room at the casino. We didn't take advantage of the pool or lake, but other campers were swimming, kayaking and fishing and appeared to have a great time.

First Glamping Trip Was Fantastic

I cannot recommend glamping at this location enough! The host quickly responded to any questions via email before and during our trip and made sure we had everything we needed. The property is very clean and well taken care of. We stayed in the Puma and our friends stayed in the camper with the hot tub. There are three campers in all on the property. You can see the others, but you still have lots of privacy. The pool and hot tub is where we spent most of our time and enjoyed it tremendously. You'll have to drive up to the pool if you are taking much, but it's walkable if you aren't. We never got in the lake but couldn't believe how beautiful and clear it was, next time we are taking some tubes to float in it and fish! You will absolutely love the dogs "Puggly" and "Daisy" they will greet you several times a day and want to play catch. The pictures on the listing are exactly what they were when we arrived. We loved this property so much we are considering doing a family trip next year to the same location!

PERFECT family getaway

We cannot say enough good things about our stay in DeSoto. The hosts are just the kind of hosts you hope for on all trips. They were extremely accommodating and their camp provides a beautiful backdrop for a family to come together to make memories. As we were pulling out of our piece of paradise, my kiddos were already trying to figure out when we could go back. Thank you Bold Family for an amazing stay and we can’t wait to come back.

Great Experience

Amazingly fun and great getaway on a budget! Camper was super clean, comfortable beds, AC works very well, all the kitchen utensils, pots and pans you could ever need. The lake is amazing! The water is so clear you can see a good 8’-10’ below the surface. We aren’t “fishermen”, but we did catch a few fish. The pool was great, and couldn’t have been any cleaner! We will definitely be back!

This was a wonderful stop for our family of 6 on our way from Chicagoland to Memphis. We loved it so much that we stayed on our way back as well, and my kids want to plan a trip to go back and stay for longer. The hosts were very responsive, the campers were perfectly stocked with what we needed, and the pups on property were sweet and playful.
