「Beautiful historic hotel, but the AC didn’t work, and the room was hot. The hotel warns you at the thermostat that the climate control isn’t great and encourages you to open windows. However, two of the three windows were bolted closed, and the third had to be propped open with a closet hangar. The beautiful antique dresser drawer mirror pointed at the ground and wasn’t useable. Lastly, we were only given decaf coffee, and the staff isn’t available in the morning until 8am to assist.」

「Staff was nice, rooms are dark. Even though they went through a remodel they reused the toilet seats and didn't update the furniture. Bathroom not cleaned well. The beds and pillows are a nightmare. I had to sleep diagonally so that I didn't roll out of the bed. So glad to be one night and now back home .」

「An hour after checking in and going to my room, I was advised that there was an additional $96 fee because my room had been changed from a king to two double beds. The king was unavailable. Felt like a down grade because it was on the first floor and could every step of the people above. Thanks to Expedia for fixing it and not making me pay the surprise charge.」

「The owners were super friendly to my children. We stayed in the Sterling room which was like a library! My children enjoyed looking through the books. My only comment was we had no choices for breakfast and my kids wouldn't eat the breakfast. More for me though!」

「Location was very convenient to see fourth of July parade the city had, only a few steps away from the building! The staff was great, almost as soon as we checked in they offered if we needed anything to let them know. Next day of check-in I received another text to see how we were doing. That shows staff is very caring of their guests. Room was very clean with a nice balcony. Area of location was close to some sightseeing places, such as Black Chasm Cavern and Indian Grinding State Park in...
