“I rented this space for my dad and his group for a Thanksgiving visit to Portland. It was only for a few days. My dad would not stop talking about how much he loved it. It was perfect -- quiet, clean, and cozy, with friendly chickens in the backyard there to greet him when he walked by -- but I think it was the record player and Ray Charles records in the home which charmed him the most.
