"Our stay at The Blue Heron was fantastic! We enjoyed our time there immensely. The lake side chalet was spotless and very tastefully decorated. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We kayaked everyday on the very quiet and peaceful lake. We saw so many different kinds of birds and even some deer. We spent a lot of time on the screened in deck,enjoying the view free from pesty bugs. Gloria has created a tranquil,relaxing place to get away and recharge."

"We had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend at this property with three generations of the family. The house is clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, with a well-stocked kitchen and a fun game room. The dock is a short drive away and very easy to park next to on the side of the road. We came mostly to fish, and would love to come back and try again when it’s not so hot. Doesn’t hurt to bring some shade with you for the morning/midday, but we had a nice time swimming, kayaking, and fishing. The hosts were very communicative and eager to make sure we had a great stay. Would definitely come back."

"We had a great experience at this home during a girls’ trip this past weekend. We enjoyed the well appointed kitchen (with the enormous island!), common living areas, the fire pit, and the dock when we swam. Everyone enjoyed their rooms and we’d return again."
