"The cottage is lovely and very much as described, it it is actually bigger inside than it looks on the photos mainly I think due to the double height of the lounge but whatever it is a roomy enough place for a family. It was very clean. The main bed and sofas could be more comfortable and maybe those and linens are getting a little tired and yes it would be nice if there was a dishwasher and washer/dryer but the vibe here is rustic, relaxed, back in time and for that it is very well placed as is the location which is just outstanding. You are literally next to a very welcoming family friendly pub, and a three minute walk from a swimming beach with lifeguards etc. The host is excellent as is the house keeper who keeps the cottage in excellent order. "

"ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC STAY!!!!Damien and Niamh were extremely friendly and helpful from the beginning of the booking till the end of our stay. They sent us a digital check-in guide with a ton of information. Many stays with rental homes and we have never seen attention to detail like this!Upon arrival, we were given a very large welcome basket, showed the property and told to call or write if anything should be needed.This property is large and can completely handle the 10 person occupancy as advertised. The rooms are all very spacious and appointed appropriately.We asked to have a BBQ in the middle of the week for about 15 adults and 5 kids and the owners were very gracious and said that it would not be a problem. There was plenty of kitchen gear to handle this and more!! We used the pizza oven twice as the kids had so much fun building their pizzas! The pizza oven is quite large for a personal residence and we could bake 2 pizzas at a time. They have an abundance of firewood already stocked to use for the fireplaces (2), pizza oven and firepit.The weather was gorgeous for us and so we spent almost all of our time outdoor with the patio furniture or at the firepit, we only had 2 nights that were windy with a little rain. The best part of the house is that it is extremely quiet up on the hill but if you want to go hang out at the pub it is only about a 100m walk. The Tin Pub is so close and Arundels is just around the corner. "
