“The cabin was very clean and beautiful. We had a great time on the paddle boat and caught around 14 pike and 1 perch. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking over the lake. The grass was freshly mowed and looked so nice. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.”

“This is a nice small cottage, steps away from the beach. Really close to the Mackinac Ferrys. We enjoyed our stay and my wife had a great birthday.”

“We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again!”

“This is a nice small cabin with a great view of the lake. We stayed for one weekend off season but I am sure it is a great place to vacation in the summer. It has everything you need, very clean, and the hosts go out if their way to make sure you are comfortable. It is an upgrade from camping but if luxury is your style, it isn’t for you.”

“House was extremely clean with comfy furniture and well stocked. Lester got back to me with answers to my questions right away. They even had local attractions and restaurant brochures to look at for making plans. The coffee, snacks and chocolate was a great treat!!! The location was great, close to town, and the trails. I couldn’t find the blow dryer that was listed. I didn’t pack mine because of the description, I was disappointed :(. A second bathroom would be great, but we made it work……

“Super cute place to stay! Close enough to everything, but in a bit quite area! At least for the time of the year! Also if your like me ,and like it dark while sleeping bring eyemask. The street light next to the front door is bright!”

“We rented for a snowmobiling long weekend for 3 couples, and the place was perfect for that purpose. The issues we had were very small and insignificant (e.g., no basket in the coffee maker). I very much recommend this place, particularly for snowmobiling.”

“The one-room cabin was overall wonderful. The view of the Trout Lake is beautiful, and the cabin is centrally located for any destination you want to get to. The host was polite, and answered every question or concern we had almost immediately. The little heater in the bathroom was a big plus. Towels and blankets were plentiful and the entire cabin was cleaned with some cooking utensils which made making dinner easy. Overall amazing stay!”

“Jim was wonderful to work with, check in was a breeze, beds were comfortable, shower had great water pressure and hot water to last 3 women washing their hair. I never even needed to ask for extra towels, pillows, or blankets, the room was so well stocked. Would absolutely stay there again!”
