It was a beautiful stay, steps can be challenging fir carrying suitcases but that’s yo be expected as it’s a historical site, the Mountain View was unbelievable and staff was fantastic and very helpful!

One of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had. Stepping into history, the staff was gracious enough to provide a private tour. Bends were very comfortable. We loved our stay! Town is so charming

A nice old castle with large rooms next to a small village not for from Annecy. Surrounding mountains and nature are stunning. Parking is easy and free. The dinner I had there was just OK and a bit pricey for what it was. Otherwise a nice place to stay for one or a few nights to explore the region around.

Our stay was beyond anything we could have expected! Highly recommend booking here, if not for the chance to sleep in a castle, then for the warmest welcome and the most attentive to detail in all the things.

I arrived late the night before my brother's wedding because of a misunderstanding about the bus schedule from Groisy. The staff took care of me and served me a late dinner going out of their way to do so. Their performance during the wedding and hosting the wedding party and murder mystery in the dungeons was excellent.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux au château. Tout était parfait, du charme de la chambre à la qualité des équipements, sans oublier l’accueil si chaleureux et attentionné. Nous nous sommes sentis privilégiés de pouvoir profiter d’un lieu aussi magnifique et paisible. Un grand merci pour cette belle parenthèse, nous en garderons un très beau souvenir !

We had hoped our château stay would be the accommodation highlight of our French road trip, as we love staying in authentic places with history and character. Our room was beautiful, as was the little we were able to see of the château itself. On arrival, the lady at reception shared a few facts about its history and showed us to our room. Unfortunately, we did not see her again. We later returned to ask whether there were other areas we could visit or enjoy, but despite ringing the bell and calling out, we were unable to get anyone’s attention. The surrounding gardens were also closed off, leaving us with nowhere to explore or relax beyond our room. We also missed having tea- and coffee-making facilities. This is something we have generally found in accommodation across all price ranges, and being able to enjoy a late-evening or early-morning cup would have made our stay more comfortable. Even at checkout, we could not find anyone to assist us. As our accommodation was fully paid and we had no outstanding charges, we left the key on the reception desk and let ourselves out. Although the setting and room were lovely, the lack of hospitality and opportunity to experience the château made this a genuinely disappointing stay. In hindsight, we would have preferred another night in Annecy. Clear information about guest access, readily available staff and a few thoughtful comforts would have made a considerable difference.

This was an amazing experience. We stayed for our 28th anniversary. They made our stay very special and magical. Everything was perfect! This castle is truly something special. We didn't want to leave. The castle and everyone there were spectacular! Memories to last a lifetime !

Beautiful castle. We had a very nice time , we have only spent one night for the experience. We have dined at the castle and it was very nice 4 course fixed meal. Highly recommended!

Do not miss this amazing place. It was my kids first introduction to Europe and we got to stay in the turret of the castle that has been in the family for 500 years. If you have the chance, say yes to Annie’s cooking with local ingredients for dinner and/or breakfast. Truly a special experience!
