Gorgeous Historic Flat on Main St. Findlay
Enjoy this fabulous, 2 BR, historic home on Main St. You will be in the heart of downtown- a vibrant, beautiful gem that boasts restaurants, bars, coffee shops, breweries, shopping, etc. Marathon Oil, the University of Findlay & the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts are all just a stroll away.
The flat is private, spacious, and stunningly renovated. It features new mattresses, a fully-stocked kitchen, a free washer and dryer, two Smart TV's, free parking and much more. Come and enjoy!
The space
This special historic home on Main St. It is the oldest brick building left in the city. It was built by Parlee Carlin in 1834 to house his wife and nine children. Mr. Carlin was an early settler and a merchant.
The striking 1886 Hancock County Courthouse is fully visible from the flat’s original eight-foot living room windows. In addition, the renowned Marathon Center for the Performing Arts and the library are just around the corner. The University of Findlay lies a short one mile to the north on Main Street.
Lovers of fine wood are in for a treat. The flat retains its rare, museum quality Heart Pine floors. They have been restored and glow as beautifully as they did when installed in 1834. The owner is proud of this property and easily accessible. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into early 19th century living quarters.
