"Loved the parador!! The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Slept like a queen. It was wonderful after a long day of horseback riding nearby. Dinner was very nice. Service was excellent. "It is a pleasure to write a review of Casa das Capelas. It is a large and beautiful, fully renovated, historical building, set in lovely grounds. My excellent room looked out over rolling countryside. So peaceful. And the owners were extremely hospitable. There is a great patio to have a glass of wine, meet a few locals and eat a light dinner. Highly recommended. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area."

"Comfortable stay deep in the mountains with stunning views and pleasing decor, except for the insects that bothered just one of us at night The apartment had 3 levels with the steep stairs to the bathroom below, it took time to get used to it. The road close to the location is narrow, curvy and challenging but worth the drive. The host did not speak English. The kitchen had everything we needed except for the lid for the kettle. We appreciate that place like that existed deep in nature."
