Everything was perfect. The rooms are clean, the stuff is very friendly, the owners are very helpful and nice. Expedia should do a better job informing the owners who would come and when. The owners knew we are coming but didn't have any way to communicate with us because Expedia didn't send them my phone or email. All was well when I called the owners and they realise it was us.

Such a great little spot for a weekend getaway! The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and it was quiet and relaxing. The location was perfect—tucked right between Fish Creek and Ephraim, making it easy to enjoy both areas. The bathrooms were on the smaller side, but totally manageable for the two of us. We also loved the little extras, like free coffee in the mornings before 10 and complimentary bike rentals. Overall, a cozy, convenient, and relaxing place to stay!

Close to everything easy commutes to all the little towns. Staff was helpful and rooms clean. Nice area to sit and watch all the traffic go back. Cute little hotel would stay there again.

Really special 1950s resort, cleaned and improved for 21st century. Wonderful couple serves fresh coffee all day and the occasional slice of Kringle from the office window. There is a clean pool, a nice relaxing outdoor space behind the rooms, lovely gardens (shaggy and flowerful, just the way I like them). The couple keeps everything in good repair, recent paint, easy parking, nifty updated tile bathrooms with '50s tile patterns that were straight out of Better Homes and Gardens, circa 1957, updated with modern plumbing, fair prices for Door County, and across street from Peninsula State Park (with 18 hole and par three golf courses), and just south of the Village of Ephraim, one of Door County's gems. Scenic, quiet, and a step back to an easier pace of life. We had a great weekend, as will you and your family!

There is terrible water pressure in the shower. The TV is very small and a Ruku set-up that was hard to figure out. Office is open 8-10am and 3-5pm. No coffee in the room, walk to the office to get a cup of coffee. No maid service for the 3 nights we were there ... not even fresh towels, replacement water cups or trash removal. No ice machine, again walk to the office for that. It is rather a "rustic" experience over all ... not my cup of tea. Bathroom sink is so small, you can't wash your hair in it (has much better water pressure than the shower). Owners are very nice people. The room was very clean. I wouldn't stay again because of the inconveniences and lack of amenities.

Ron and Carol were the most gracious hosts. The bikes were able to be checked out free of charge to guests for the stay at the resort. The pool was crystal clear and super well maintained. My wife and I swam there every day of our stay. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Bathroom and living room were perfect for our 3 day stay in Door County. The complimentary daily coffee and Kringle offered a very classy touch to each morning. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with gorgeous flowers and a firepit and ample outdoor seating areas with tables and Adirondack chairs. We feel like we made friends with Ron and Carol while we were there along with a few other guests. The resort is conveniently located right across from Peninsula State Park. We are already planning another trip to Door County and plan on staying here once again. Perfect. Most excellent - 5/5 review. Thank you Ron and Carol for helping to make our first trip to Door County one we will never forget.

My room was right next to the highway which impacted my sleep. This room was very very small, but I was allowed to bring my Labrador along. You cannot leave the dog in the room, so that is a bit disruptive if you want to go out for dinner. The locks on the doors are as old as the facility and tricky to learn how to use. I locked myself out once. The staff was great and came to let me in, but scolded me for leaving the dog in the room alone when I only went to my vehicle to get something. She should have realize that with no shoes on and my attire.
