「Das Ferienhaus liegt hinter Bakka bei Gudvangen (6 km von Gudvangen entfernt, auf schmaler Straße (Auto empfehlenswert) erreichbar). Der Ausblick von der Terasse auf den Naeroyfjord ist traumhaft, auf der anderen Seite rauscht der Tuftofossen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, der Vermieter ist nett und hilfsbereit. Von hier konnten wir schöne Ausflüge unternehmen: Von Flam mit der Flamsbana nach Myrdal (Wanderung zurück ins Tal an tollen Wasserfällen vorbei), mit Autofähre nach Kaupanger...

「Even if the furniture is quite old, it is clean and totally adequate. It has a very cozy charme. The village is quite quiet and the loudest noise was that of the water stream not far from the house. The only thing that was interesting to put it mildly was the smell coming from the bathroom. One of the water drains was smelly, but you can manage by keeping the window open. All in all it is a cozy little place and we would visit again.」

We were lucky enough that even though it was late when we got there, a gentleman in the house near where the gps took us was able to somewhat lead us in the right direction. We attempted to call the owners multiple times but no one ever answered and never returned our calls at any point during the stay. 「Era presentato come monolocale con angolo cottura, quindi, non essendoci ristoranti o locali in cui poter mangiare nei dintorni, ci siamo procurati del cibo da cucinare. Appena accesa la piastra a induzione, si è sentito un botto, come un rumore di contatore che salta. Da quel momento non abbiamo più avuto a disposizione né la piastra, né il frigo che evidentemente erano collegati. 「Bei Ankunft in der Ferienwohnung mussten wir feststellen, daß beinahe alle Schubladen in der Kommode und die großen Schubladen in der Küche abgeschlossen waren. Der Wandschrank war zur Hälfte voll mit Bettwäsche, obwohl man Bettwäsche und Handtücher selbst mitbringen musste. Das finde ich nicht gastfreundlich! Wir waren mehrere Wochen unterwegs und hatten viel Gepäck und hätten das gerne ausgepackt. Außerdem verstehen wir nicht, daß man die Wohnung selbst Putzen und spätestens um 10 Uhr...
