We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight a pleasant experience. Follow our tips and tricks and you'll be breezing through airport security and exploring Baia Mare before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be easy if you pack the right gear. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletries, such as lip balm and hand cream, a fresh change of clothes and a magazine or two. Secondly, find room in your hand luggage for your mobile phone, a charger, any vital medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow as well. Lastly, be sure to take your passport, travel documents and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- While the list of prohibited items differs between air carriers, the general rule to follow is nothing sharp, flammable or explosive. This includes things like screwdrivers, knives, fuels and bleaching agents. Sports equipment like hockey sticks, and items that could injure passengers, such as firearms and ammunition, won't be allowed on board either.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main concern when deciding what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a wise choice, as are flat, closed-toe shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by extended periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin or do some simple exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
