We've got the lowdown on how to make your journey as pain-free as possible. Follow our insider tips and you'll be speeding through the airport and exploring Frontier in no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- The secret to having a worry-free flight experience is to pack in advance. So, let's start with the basics: passport, travel docs, cash and daily medications. Next, take on board items that'll help keep you occupied, like some electronic devices or a good book. It's also a wise idea to bring your chargers, a neck pillow and a pair of earphones. Finally, don't forget to chuck in toiletries like a toothbrush, facial wipes and a fresh change of clothes.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated. Sharp or pointed objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, bleaching agents and fuels, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of a plane aren't the place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and opt for shoes that are flat, roomy and easy to slip on and off.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of sitting. To lessen your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and keep your legs and feet moving.
