Country living at it's best, enjoy all George's Lake has to offer in this 3 bedrooms cottage on the water. Cottage away from home, Our lake house is comfortably furnished and stocked for you to escape from reality. From our country front porch to our backyard view and our picturesque sunsets. Family memories will be made here.
We love our lake house and all it has to offer, while work demands keep us away more than we want, we enjoy sharing our little piece of heaven with everyone. We do strive to provide the best experience for each family who joins us and hopefully that is quickly noticed once inside the house.

For your safety as well as ours, a security camera has been installed. (Outside only).

Felt like home
I would 1st like to thank the host for the quick response for my request to adding additional day to my reservation, all the communications where quick & on point. The Lake House itself was comfortable and felt like home. We were able to enjoy the local area attractions and restaurants, including The Blue Crab Festival in Palakta Fl. I would recommend booking this cabin and why even look at hotels when you can relax with such a beautiful home. Thank you for sharing yor home

Ideal Lake Vacation, hidden quaintly from hustle & bustle
Darling backwoods cabin sitting spaciously tucked away on George’s Lake. We enjoyed the scenery from the screened in porch. Watching animals both land and water had to offer. Spending mornings fishing from the dock, afternoons floating with provided lake toys and evenings on the deck grilling. The grill is small and simple yet held food for 3 just fine. INSIDE: SPOTLESS! (Two stories/STAIRS) Everything was thoughtfully labeled and planned for a stay short or long term. Adjustable thermostat with directions ; a welcome book with bottle of wine. BATHROOMS: 1.5 Soft large towels & Bathroom essentials provided. Tile floors. Shower on main level. KITCHEN: Kitchen essentials. Plentiful variety including an espresso machine with provided inserts (not essentail, yet pleasing ), blender, crockpot, mixer, cooking racks, you name it! BEDROOMS: 2 Bedroom 3 is more of a loft. There isn’t privacy for a third person. However, all the beds were comfortable. Memory foam feel. HOSTS: A DREAM. We kept in contact easily through text or Vrbo. They expressed concern for our safety during hurricane Ian with instructions on what to do if the occasion arose. Extending our stay was simple. They took care of the reservations and allowed ample time for payment. WENDY AND TEDDY HAVE GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE THIS CABIN A DESTINATION YOU WILL NOT SOON FORGET! (Note: only 1 minor dislike. The water inside: shower, sink, laundry is safe to drink and clean although the smell of sulfur is very off putting. We assume this was due to a shallow well)

Perfect weekend get away
We loved our stay, and agreed that this would be our go to rental in the area! The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and was just a few steps away from the lake. Perfect for anyone that loves fishing and swimming. The home was clean and welcoming with many amenities. It was baby friendly with a high chair and and pack and play. The home owners were extremely kind and helpful! They responded quickly and included a booklet that had local emergency numbers and info about the house. We really loved our stay and the name is no lie. We may have visited during the rainy season, but we still got to see some beautiful sunsets over the lake. This is easily one of our favorite places we have stayed over the years and would recommend it for anyone.
