Elegant and comfortable apartment at the first floor WITH ELEVATOR of a palace of XVI century, in the historical centre of Florence.
Authorized by the Municipality of Florence and managed directly by the owners (no travel agency!).
The apartment has a really spacious feel - 70 sq metres - and it’s perfect for 2/4 persons.
It has been recently restored with care and well equipped with all the needs for a comfortable living (free internet WiFi , heating, air conditioning, iron, hair-dryer), but maintaining the characteristics of the typical Florentine house with an ancient wooden beamed ceiling.
The kitchen is fully equipped also with dishwasher, owen, microwave, fridge, freezer, 4 flames, coffee maker, toaster and mixer.
In the large livingroom there are 2 sofas (including 1 new large and confortable sofabed suitable for 2 adults), where is possible to relax and watch the big smart TVled 42".
The romantic bedroom with kingsize bed (160x200) is separated to the livingroom by an aisle to ensure the privacy.
In the nice bathroom there is a big shower.
The livingroom and the bedroom open onto the terrace equipped with a little table and chairs.
A particular house entrance with sofa completes the property.
The apartment is located between Santa Croce and Sant'Ambrogio quarters, in a very typical lively area plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants frequented almost by locals.
However, the apartment is very quiet and peaceful, which is very rare in the centre of Florence.
Walking distance to all major tourist sights, as Santa Croce Church, Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, Statue of David, Ponte Vecchio etc, It is also 2 minutes away from the old covered food market of Sant'Ambrogio (where it's possible to buy typical products) and the Antiques Market "Mercato delle Pulci".
Agreement with trattoria I Fratellini (near the apartment) for a discount of 10% for our guests.
The flat is no-smoking. Not pets allowed.
We offer also a set of bath amenities.

We will meet our guests at the arrival to give the keys ,show the apartment and give all the necessary informations.

The apartment is very spacious - plenty of room for the two of us during our stay. Location is perfect - apart from catching a taxi to and from the train station with our luggage - everywhere else is in walkable distance. There is a big Coop Supermarket nearby to stock up on anything you need. Elena was quick to respond to any questions we had regarding the apartment and even how to find a taxi. Recommended.

Family vacation

We stayed at the apartment with our two children almost 3 and almost 1. We had a minor delay with check in because the person who was supposed to meet us wasn’t answering the buzzer. Definitely helpful to have data or a working phone which we don’t always do because we rely on wifi but thankfully did this time and Elena was very responsive. After that it was a perfect stay. We had a crib for the baby and the washing machine and drying rack was a perk. We could hear the upstairs neighbour often and throughout the night too but thankfully didn’t keep the kids up. The area was perfect for us with everything in walking distance. We walked later in the evening a few nights and always felt safe. We came back to the apartment daily for the kids to have a break and it was a big space for everyone to spread out. Overall it was a great stay.

A Lovely Getaway

Wow, the apartment was truly lovely. It was a large space and beautifully decorated. It was quiet, cozy and clean. The neighborhood was a mix of residential and business and a close walk to shops and the Duomo. Elena was helpful and kind. We would definitely stay there again qhen we return to Florence.

Great neighborhood

The property was very nice, with good amenities. But the best thing was the neighborhood it was in. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Close to all the major attractions and to bus lines. And we always felt safe even walking around at night because there was so much activity and foot traffic.

Very nice property close to multiple attractions.

Very nice property overall. It's a bit hard to unpack with few places to store clothes. In the absence of a clothes dryer, it would be nice to have a fan to help with drying the clothes on a rainy day.A couple more ice trays would also help us Americans who are in love with ice. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Comfortable Flat

I stayed in this flat for a month and was so comfortable. The owners were terrific - there was a bug problem (it is Florance after all) and they were very responsive and helpful. The apartment is well equipped with kitchen and bathroom items. The only thing I missed was a side or coffee table in the seating room area. Highly recommend this flat.

The best location wise

In historical center but away from the crowds. Quiet and cool apartment with beautiful ceilings. Lots of mosquitos. Handy washing machine. Close to market and supermarket. Major attractions all within easy walking distance. Great pastry shop just down the street. We had an issue with acquiring a taxi on our last day. Elena came to the rescue and made sure that we were safely on our way.

Great apartment in a nice part of the city

We loved how spacious the apartment was! Nice big bathroom and kitchen, comfortable bed, large living area. We loved that there we so many shops, restaurants, and cafes within a short walk. The check-in process was rather strange. We had to make multiple stops to get the keys and then go to the unit but it was easy enough. All in all a great stay.

Three wonderful months!

This apartment is a beauty! It is large, comfortable and luxurious with wall treatments to die for. In fact, the entire apartment looks as if it was renovated by a designer. It’s an easy 10 minute walk to the center, but the apartment itself is very quiet. It was wonderful to have an elevator for a change, even though it was on the first floor (European) or 2nd floor (US). The owners, Elena and Giovanni, are fantastic. I had 2 small problems and they came to fix them immediately. All of the appliances work like a dream. After 3 months, I was so sad to leave not only Florence, but also Via Ghibellina 22! I would recommend this apartment to anyone seeking a beautiful home away from home. Thanks again, Elena and Giovanni 🥰!

Comfortable

Many many very nice things about this property: comfort, instant communication with gracious hosts, location…. We would only hesitate to return because of the lack of natural light, which was not obvious from the photos. But otherwise this was a great choice.

A lovely apartment in a great location

This property was just right for us! We love the Santa Croce neighborhood and were able to walk to just about anywhere we wanted within 15-20 minutes. We had one small issue with the washing machine, but the property manager responded quickly to get it fixed. We recommend this property without hesitation.

A great apartment

This place is gorgeous! And big! Location is perfect. Hosts wonderful. There is a Trattoria called Que’ Ganzi on this street as you walk toward the center. Lots of Italians eat there and the food is great and the wine list amazing. This fabulous apartment and a great restaurant on the same street! What more could you ask for?

Wonderful!

The location can't be better: within walking distance from all Florentine attractions. The apartment is immaculate, very well-equipped, and surprisingly quiet. The only sound from upstairs was piano playing. Elena and Guiseppe are great hosts who made us feel at home.

Séjour avec un jeune bebe

Nous avons très apprécié l'appartement. Très bien équipé et grand. Environnement très calme, loin des foules de touristes. L'appartement est très proche du centre historique. Plusieurs services disponibles à proximité. Un peu loin de la gare de train ou des locations de voiture, 25 minutes à pied ou 10 minutes en taxi. Nous avons restés à l'appartement 7 nuits avec notre petite d'un an. Lit pour bébé disponible, il manquerait juste une chaise haute.

Good location for a City stay with emphasis on culture. Easy walking to Museums, bus stop around the corner. Market, baker, Restaurants, in the neighborhood. Florence was very HOT. AC was a Relief. Apt. Is in back of buildung, facing innerhalb courtyard. Quiet.
