Awesome place....BUT READ THIS FIRST!
This home was like something out of a movie. Its design, size, decorations, and charm were stunning (even the many pictures don't do it justice). It's also right around the corner from the Boboli Gardens (and a great restaurant called Trattoria Boboli) BUT... you need to understand that the home does NOT have air-conditioning and mosquitos are a real problem. So it's really important to understand this; obviously, the time of year is very relevant as to whether this will apply to you. We stayed in mid-June and it happened to get to 100 degrees the second day we were there. We did contact the management company and simply asked that they get some fans for us. We were initially met with pushback but remaining firm, we were pleased to arrive home after a day on the town to have four fans. This made all the difference in the world. The management company was VERY good at providing tips on everything we asked for, including a driver to wine country and an in-home chef for hire. We would highly recommend this place assuming you are comfortable without A/C and don't mind being covered in bug spray if you plan to utilize the beautiful (and private) backyard gathering area pictured.
