Very clean although the tub is old and has seen better days, modern room furnishings, new carpet; breakfast was not available when staff did not show up for work, yikes, but will stay here again because of the Marriott high grade for cleanliness.

We were told we had a renovated room. The room had a filthy tub full of putty and grout chips. Toilet was dirty. I thought pet friendly hotels isolated pets to designated rooms. There is a small dog and a huge dog in room next to us. Third floor. Given new room. Room renovated but has old wall a/c. A/C on blast. Room just cool. The woman in front of us requested that she not be in first floor. Desk attendant clearly put out. We will be out early and in our way.

Breakfast was an expensive disappointment. About a year ago, I had the French Toast at the same hotel and it was terrific with nice thick pieces if toast, perfectly prepared. This time, the toast was just thin grocery store bread and it was overcooked -- too hard for the plastic utensils. I ate it with my hands. The coffee was good. With the tip, breakfast was $19.50 -- way too much.

The water pressure was not up to Marriott standards. I live in Florence and got the room because the plumbing at my residence was being worked. Imagine my surprise when there was very little water pressure to take a shower.

The smoke detector in our room needed a battery, they had no spares nor could they move us to another room. Could not get breakfast, the bistro cook called in sick and they had no backup.

The fire alarm goong off at 230 am! Cold showers, pool closed.. untrained staff.. in my opinion management dropped the ball! Dont know that id ever stay here again or reccomend to a friend..

Our shower water was dirty brown. Dirty enough that the clean white towel was covered in brown “rust like” coloring. During the night our A/C somehow automatically switched to heat and we woke up to the room temperature being 85 degrees! To top it all off, the hotel is under renovation, making handicap parking an inconvenience and it being noisy. Overall, a very unimpressive stay.

I booked a room with them and I was in a position had to change rooms due to cleanliness. The room they put me in it was mold everywhere and the room smelled horrible the room smelled like an ash tray and clearly I booked a non smoking room and the sheets and bed spread was filthy, oven not working and also intercom not functioning so every time have to come down. Because of the time i was too tired to not entertain and book another room. The manager at that time said they were going to give me a refund. I told the clerk and she told me the housekeeping crew was gone so they gave me a new mate and sheets. This process took two hours to settle down. This was the worst experience I ever had with a hotel. During checkout time they told me that in order to get a refund I had to go through Expedia and Expedia has to call them in order to get my refund(Giving me a round around).The entire stay was horrible. If i could give them a zero I would.

Hmmm... Customer Service was great
Rob in the bistro was amazing. He makes this place great. Customer Service was good. My room however-The first one smelled funky and was dirty. The second had a strong perfume smell and a little dingy with stains everywhere. The people above us were loud for hours. We ended up calling and asking if the front desk would say something in which they handled it.

Terrible Experience
We came to check in for a one night stay that we had paid for in advance. The hotel clerk said there were no available rooms. They ended up trying to call a manager that they said would not answer. We had to find another hotel at 11pm and luckily I got my money back from hotels.com… I had 4 people in my party and we sat there for an hour and a half until the next shift came in to try and figure out the problem. We left without an answer and nobody reached out to me after the incident to make sure I was refunded. Good thing I booked through hotels.com

Do not book here if you plan on arriving after 4pm check in!!! Booked a one night stay, I called them around 2pm to let them know we would be arriving later in the evening… called again around 10pm to make sure our room was ready and they tell me they overbooked and gave our room away. It somehow never occurred to them to call the guests they couldn’t accommodate to let them know to find other accommodations… Don’t even waste your time here! You’re better off at the Residence Inn down the street :)

Got in the room the bed was filthy, hairs under the mattress and on the sheets, there was a white film all over the head board we had to scrub off ourselves. Called the from desk and no one answered for sometime, no housekeepers on duty, no supervisors on duty just the desk clerk at 9pm on a busy Saturday night. I never complain but this is the most disgusting worst hotel I’ve ever been to.
