Well… My expectations were absolutely blown away during this stay. I was visiting a friend for a couple of days in Firenze and wanted a central location that made it easy to explore on foot. Traveling with just a carry-on and backpack, I was able to walk from Santa Maria Novella Station to the B&B in about 10 minutes (super convenient).
Andrea, who works as a host for the property was in constant communication with me from the moment I arrived at the station until I reached just outside Piazza del Duomo. He immediately greeted me, took my carry-on and personally escorted me to the B&B. He is an absolute gentleman and genuinely kind person. I speak and understand Italian, but his English is perfect.
As for the room. If you love art and history, you’re in for something special. That was one of the main reasons I chose this place and it did not disappoint. The moment you walk in, your jaw will drop. It’s a perfect blend of authentic, rustic Italian history and modern comfort. The welcoming gifts were a thoughtful touch. The bathroom was equally impressive (your jaw will drop again). Having a little private terrazza was also super nice.
The location is truly a standout feature. There’s nothing like waking up on your first morning and stepping outside to see Cattedrale Santa Maria del Fiore right in front of you.
I can’t thank Andrea enough for being such an incredible host. He was always available, extremely helpful and easy to reach via WhatsApp. Not that I needed much, ever

Beautiful room the ceiling was gorgeous very well decorated and clean . Bed was comfy ! All amenities - robes , slippers , excellent toiletries ! Cannot say enough about the staff - great communication before and during our stay ! Very helpful and kind and arranged taxi service for an early departure and a take away breakfast that was fantastic ! Breakfast is just around the corner at a cafe and we had a great breakfast all 5 days ! Right across from the Duomo ( near entrance to climb to the dome ). Very safe and walkable and right in the middle of it all. Highly recommend !

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They were so accommodating and hospitable they made sure we had everything we needed even met us outside the hotel and took our bags to our room. Gave us recommendations about the surrounding area and told us about the history of the building. The murals on the ceiling are so beautiful the rooms are just stunning I will 1000000% re-book this room when I come back to Florence

So the location of this property is top notch, and you realize you are basically in the center of everything. Every shop, restaurant, church, tattoo shop, cafe, whatever you want, you are in the center. The room was very nice and the water pressure in the shower was top notch. The only

We had a wonderful stay at Firenze Al Duomo. Communication with the staff started about a week before our arrival, and from that very first message, they were attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Their thoughtful follow-ups made our check-in and stay seamless.
The location could not be better — just steps away from the Duomo and all major attractions, yet peaceful and quiet once inside. Our room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s clear that every detail has been considered with care.
Breakfast is served through their partnership with the Opera House Restaurant, which is an experience in itself — phenomenal food, elegant atmosphere, and just the perfect way to start a day in Florence.
What truly sets this B&B apart is the staff. They are warm, helpful, and genuinely dedicated to making guests feel at home. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made our visit to Florence even more memorable.
We highly recommend Firenze Al Duomo to anyone looking for a refined, comfortable, and welcoming stay in the very heart of the city. We will definitely return on our next trip to Florence!

We had the best stay! Everyone was welcoming and you feel like you’re staying in the Duomo. Gets a bit noisy but I would recommend this B&B to anyone!!

You really can’t beat the location! The view from our room was like a fairy tale, with the duomo directly across the street and the artists selling their paintings outside. Andrea was an excellent host, very attentive and helpful, and even got us a coveted dinner reservation for Florentine steak. The room itself was just quintessentially Florence, with the fresco on the ceiling and lush furnishings. The only downside to the room was the bathroom with no ceiling - just not much privacy, so make sure you’re really comfortable with your traveling companion! We were provided a voucher for breakfast off-site, so the location for that was not the most convenient, and we never did use the voucher. I would stay here again though and recommend, because the location and the stay were really wonderful!

The breakfast that was included was delicious and there were healthy options (avocado toast with smoked salmon and an egg was one option). The location of Firenze al Duomo can't be beat. It was perfect for walking to every notable place in the area and the Duomo right out the door! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Absolutely, one of the premium hotels to stay in the heart of Florence!

Absolutt nydelig leilighet som ligger tvers ovenfor Duomo. Svært vennlig vertskap. Stille og rolig. Fantastisk frokost i kafé like ved. Anbefales på det varmeste. Leiligheten ligger i 2. etg uten heis.
