Budget choice
It's actually a shared apartment rather than b&b. Very strange to have a few steps of staircase inside the room that made us hard to carry our luggage. Facilities inside the room are not very new but still acceptable. Appreciated that the daily cleaning service includes tidying up our clothes on chair!

Ubicación excelente. El baño un poco pequeño, poco espacio para dejar las cosas y con un escalón de entrada muy poco práctico. Sobre el personal del hotel, no me gustó la poca información que nos dieron desde recepción sobre la ciudad ni tampoco que insistieran en que mi reserva no estaba pagada cuando sí que lo estaba. Me cobraron lo que no debían y solo cuando pude llegar a mi habitación, con wifi (no había cobertura en la recepción) y descargarme mi reserva, pude verificar que yo estaba en lo cierto. Resolvió el problema una persona diferente a la chicha que nos atendió (que seguía insistiendo en que la reserva no estaba pagada). Él le mostró su error y resolvió el problema muy rápidamente, haciéndome la devolución al momento, pero sería de agradecer que las personas de recepción estén bien informadas acerca de los difentes formas de pago que ofrece Expedia, que para eso es su ventaja. No es cómodo tener que reclamar algo que ya habíais confirmado que estaba pagado.

Perfect location in the heart of Florence
The hotel is in a perfect location. 10 min walk into the square and Cathedral. Breakfast is served in the hotel across the road. There is a lovely rooftop bar here also. We book a room with a jacuzzi which was very relaxing after climbing so many stairs up the Bell Tower 🔔 😀 Staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room but the little fridge in the room did help. The room was immaculately clean. I would totally recommend this accommodation 😊

Prime location. The only drawback is that the front staff doesn’t recognize you because you aren’t entering and exiting with them.

Old Bridge was the perfect location for exploring Florence. We would like to thank the fabulous front desk staff at the Hotel La Scaletta across the street. They were really helpful with reserving a taxi and providing us with a lot of information about the City. Their English was great! We will be back to Florence Old Bridge.

The location of this property is great for walking. If you have to use a taxi, be aware that the ride will be a bit longer due to being on the other side of the river and the numerous one-way streets. Plan accordingly and it isn't a problem. The hotel was great at calling the taxi. Staff was friendly and helpful. The small down side was that we had requested twin bed set up and the hotel had confirmed this yet, when we checked in, the beds were set up as one. The hotel sent someone over to re-do them but it would have been nice to have it the way we requested upon our arrival.

Great hotel for an affordable price, amazing central location to all the museums, the Duomo, plenty of restaurants and shops. (12-18 min walk) Hotel is right on the old bridge Street. Only complaint, i wish the beds and pillows in Europe would be more comfortable. Very firm mattress. 4/5

While it is in a great location, the room we got was very small. But that's the price you need to pay for a central accommodation at an average price. However, staff were very great and easy to talk to!

The hotel is located in a very good area, if you like enjoying music at night, and walk around, this place is an amazing match for you. It was suuuuper clean, and the staff was amazing, they even helped us book some tours and gave us best practices to do around the hotel. The restaurant in front is in a rooftop, so it have an incredible view from the city!

Our stay at this place was average. We loved the fact that it was walking distance to many attractions and downtown. Otherwise, everything else about the hotel is pretty average. There was no water left in the mini fridge. The cups that were left were dirty. And the room was very stuffy and too small.

Ótima estrutura dos quartos, café da manhã perfeito, e a localização não poderia ser melhor. O único inconveniente é que não recebemos um aviso prévio por email, acerca da necessidade de buscar a chave do quarto no outro hotel antes de entrar. Wifi ruim também, mas resolve as necessidades básicas.

It was very unpleasant. When we arrived at the hotel, the door was closed and couldn't get in. So I called the hotel and asked how we could access to the reception. It turned out that the reception was located in another building across the street. There were another couple who arrived at the hotel and were also not aware of this info. Even though it was our fault that we didn't read this information when we booked this hotel, they should have a notice for the location of reception at the enterance of the hotel building just to make sure. When we called the hotel to ask where the reception was, The woman on the phone spoke so fast with thick accent that I coouldn't understand what she was talking. When I told her that I didn't understand, she got upset and almost shouted at me saying why I couldn't find the reception building. After wasting a lot of time on the street, we finally could check in. The woman on the phone told us she didn't understand why we had hard time finding the reception place and gave us somewhat hostile attitude. They knew that we were struggling to find where the reception was but didn't do anything about it. It must have been nice if one of the hotel crew came down to the hotel building where we all were and guided us there. Because they were supposed to come down to the hotel building to lead us to the hotel room after checking in. This whole process wasted our time and ruined our mood on our first day in Firenze.

Personale gentile, camera in B&B che necessiterebbe di un rinnovamento, rendendola più confortevole (es. minibar, anche se non previsto in B&B, ma siamo nel 2022). In realtà la formula B&B è prevista solo pagando la colazione in aggiunta alla camere. Ingresso nel palazzo dove sita la camera difficoltoso (difficoltà di lettura della carta al portone d'ingresso). La zona è fantastica, in pieno centro storico, ma al di là di questo non ci sono altri motivi per doverci stare, soprattutto se si arriva in auto.

We booked this property well in advance and needed to add a third person to the room. They were not able to accommodate us. We asked for a refund so we could go somewhere else and they refused. They said it was pre-paid and non-refundable. We were not happy but accepted that we made a mistake so we booked another hotel that would accommodate three people. After the visit ended, this property sent us a hateful note stating that we were considered no-shows and we would not get a refund. Why add insult to injury? They already refused to give us a refund and then send us more messages saying that they won’t give us a refund. Honestly, they should have given us a partial refund and then rented the room out to someone else. They would have made money and we would have felt happy about not losing $400. A little flexibility would have gone a long way. I would not recommend booking here due to their lack of flexibility and continued hateful emails. You got our money and ruined our time in Florence. Isn’t that enough?
