Nice place & centrally located

Nice apartment and we enjoyed are stay. The bar downstairs got a little rowdy Saturday night, but other than that nothing negative to speak of.

Great location, large apartment

The apartment is very centrally located (you will hear some street noise). We loved that we could walk just about anywhere. We enjoyed the large apartment after a busy day in the city.

We stayed there last september, we were two couples and the apartment was great. We thought it was walking distance from everything, nice little cafe across the street. Yes four flights of stairs, but you are in Europe so to be expected. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Beautiful and very clean. It was an awesome base to visit Firenze.

Comfortable property

Property was comfortable and conveniently located. Nicely appointed. Basic supplies, like bathroom paper, trash bags, dishwasher soap, spices, laundry detergent were greatly appreciated.

Very Cute Apartment

The property was overall great and I would recommend this place! Make sure to download WhatsApp prior to arriving as that is the only form of communication that Lorenzo uses and he didn't communicate that until i was in Italy. Lorenzo was not onsite to greet us and instructions could have been more clear on how to use the key to open the door and that one of the doors was not working to get in an out of the building.

The apartment is great, only 8 minutes walk from the train station, lots of great places to eat around, a family bakery right downstairs, 3 minutes walk to Mercado Centrale where you can have delicious food. Pam local supermarket for groceries. Great Trattorias that are not overpriced ( Via Nazionale- right opposite there are 2 reasonably priced restaurants -Matto Matto) . You can easily walk to all the museums , galleries and churches, shopping streets and bridges. The flat is very spacious, great for a family of 4. fully equipped kitchen. Beds are comfortable, very clean, essentials provided. Great communication and easy check in. Many thanks for a memorable stay.

Great location

The property was well kept and in a great location. The half bath was a plus when staying with four people. Just know there are about 40 steps up to the apartment which was not a problem for us but may be for some visitors. Also only air conditioning in bedrooms which again was fine for us because our visit was in September and the weather was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a wonderful stay in Florence.

Beautiful apartment right in the heart of Florence

Do not hesitate to stay here. The apartment was beautiful and just like the pictures. Walking distance from the train station and everything in Florence. Super convenient. We had one hiccup during the stay, and the property manager was on it immediately. We thought there was a hot water problem, but it ended up being one electrical outlet went out which made the hot water and all the power go out. There was an electrician there within the hour and they were super fast and efficient. Everything was perfect from that point on. Recommendation: The best restaurant we ate at was Zaza. I don’t care how long you have to wait we ate there twice it was so good. Get the truffle ravioli.

Great location, poor management

The property is at walking distance from train station. Main attractions including duomo, shopping areas, coffee shops, and restaurants are easily accessible with in minutes of walking. Facility is secure and one has to go thru three different locks to access the apartment. We had issue with the availability of hot water. We could get hot water for only 2 days out of our total stay for 4 days. We tried to contact the management multiple times and their response was poor. It took 2 days for the owner to fix it but afterwards we started having fuse issue while using other appliances including electric tea kettle. Using tea kettle blew the fuse. This was very inconvenient. Otherwise, the apartment is comfortable, bright and airy and well equipped with appliances, tea bags, coffee, sugar and other condiments etc. other than inconvenience with hot water issue we liked the place.

before arriving no communication from the owner, the day of arrival I had to call them several times to finally speak to someone who told me that it will be self check in. We were sent a film where the location of the key box was badly indicated and in the box there was no key, I had to call back to beg them to send us someone to open it and show us the place, during this time we were in the street with children. the neighborhood is populated and two alcoholic people were fighting in the street. The apartment was clean but there was an unbearable bad smell in the bathroom and in the apartment even if we were only there to sleep. My daughter was nauseous from this smell!! The air conditioning was too noisy and my boy woke up at 3am with fear of an explosion and he woke us up. a terrible experience so I do not recommend this rental at all !!

Authentic but underwhelming

The apt was lovely. Very clean. But a few things where disappointing. The air conditioner in one room leaked like a sieve. We contacted the owner but nothing was done. Had to use our only towel to soak it up each day. The other air conditioner couldn’t shut off. The listing didn’t tell us it was on the third floor (6 flights) and it was a walk up there was no soap or hand towels or even a dis towel. The neighborhood had an array of amount of drunks at the doorstep each night. The step outside the bath room was not clearly marked and we almost killed ourselves. We had to contact her at the end of the trip to find out if we need to leave money for traveler tax. Had a funky smell in the living room. The apt is very roomy and there was a nice selection of tea and sugar. Beware of the washing machine. It is very difficult to open. The dining room was very nice. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. Almost felt like you were laying on a piece of plywood. Ilaria was informative at the beginning of the trip and gave us extensive direction on how to check in. Overall a nice place but need a little love and care

Lovely Place, Poor Communication

The apartment has been renovated and is lovely (second floor, no lift). Two big bedrooms plus a sofa bed. Good a/c in bedrooms which helped in 40’ heat. Quite central, maybe a block or two off the nicer streets. Only downside was that communication regarding getting access was really late - like an hour before we were arriving late - and I had to do the chasing. Once inside, we were fine and there were good instructions left.
