The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. The location was convenient with an elevator that was an advantage for getting luggage to the 3rd floor. Breakfast was also convenient and quite good.

Perfect location, steps from main train station and walkable to most Florence attractions. Small rooms but clean and comfortable. Reception staff was super helpful (especially Nadia): they reached out before our arrival with instructions, provided restaurant recommendations, updated museum scheules (for the Easter weekend). Breakfast was simple but plenty and coffee is delicious and made fresh to order. Perfect place for short stays!

Unclean Rooms & Poor Maintenance. Overpriced, dirty, and poorly maintained. My stay at Hotel Berna was a complete disappointment. The room was far below standard, they come to clean the every days but, not clean the bathroom or shower, only make up the bed and change the towel, bathroom was dirty / the sheets were stained never changed. The coffee cup not changed even we told staff the front desk. On top of that, shower room too small not look like the picture on the website. For the price paid, this was an extremely uncomfortable.

O hotel fica no 3 piso do prédio.

Not the prettiest location, but so convenient to train, and easy walking to all major attractions. The very best part was our service . Nadia, specifically, went way above and beyond to be so helpful, as well as friendly and courteous every day. For this reason, I would recommend hotel Berna to friends!!!

This property is located very close to the train station but there was no problem with loiterers. It was also surprisingly quiet. Very close to the heart of old Florence and surrounded by mini marts, restaurants and shopping. Walkable to all the major sites, food and shopping & p public transportation. . Front desk has limited hours, breakfast has all cold items; the coffee is excellent. Cold meats and boiled eggs complement the carbs, fruit and juices. The elevator is on floor 1 so cases must be carried up from 0. Not suitable for those who are challenged by stairs or accompanied by small children. The room and bathroom were a good size. We didn’t feel cramped at all.

Excellent location, value and service!

We only stayed 2 days in Florence so a central location was critical. This was a great location especially for a last minute booking! Other than some traffic restrictions that we didn’t understand there were no issues. The hotel called the local authorities and had the fines removed, and even sent us documents for proof, beyond excellent service! We even received a friendly “bravo” for sleeping late and enjoying actually being on vacation!
