La Bottega del Ferro is a very nice apartment with great character. Located on the ground floor of a typical Florentine building in Via Toscanella, the property has been recently completely renovated with great attention and attention to detail. The house has a very large living area, consisting of the living room, the dining area and the kitchen. In the sleeping area we find a master bedroom. Two bathrooms complete the property.
The apartment is characterized by a really beautiful and particular architecture with exposed bricks, large arches and splendid ceilings with wooden beams. The design of this house is truly unique and we are sure that you will be able to appreciate the mix between the most typical and the most modern elements resulting from the recent renovation.
If you choose this apartment you will have air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet, washing machine, dishwasher and TV.

Best place we’ve ever stayed in Italia
We absolutely loved our stay at La Bottega del Ferro! The space was super comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed—perfect for relaxing after long days exploring Florence. It’s in a quiet spot but still really close to everything—we walked everywhere! The bed was cozy, the AC worked great, and everything felt so peaceful. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Great place to stay
The property is in an excellent location and is very comfortable indeed. We didn’t use the kitchen at all as we ate in the delicious restaurants in Florence. The only downside to the property is the complicated lighting system, the fact that some of the lights are continually flickering plus the fact that the overall light level is pretty low. But it didn’t ruin our stay at all!

Wonderful location
Perfectly situated, great launching pad for a weekend in the city. Large, clean, and quiet apartment, plenty of room. Washer inside apartment (no dryer).
Checking in and out was very simple. Host was in touch with us the whole time… very seamless.

UPS and downs
Excellent location and quiet. Poor lighting- no lights in the living room or dining room other than accent lights. No towels of any kind in the kitchen. We asked for a blanket, as there was none on the bed and only one thin one in the wardrobe and it was cool and rainy outside and were told they don’t provide those. However, we did manage to get one delivered, finally

Fabulous property and location
A converted artisan iron foundry workshop, very close to the Ponte Vecchio and Pritti palace. A perfect location for a short visit. Extremely well equipped and comfortable. Highly recommend

Perfect!
My husband and I usually stay at a hotel
when traveling abroad. We ventured out and decided to stay at this cute VRBO and I’m so glad we did. This large one bedroom is perfect for two, lots of space, very clean and was so convenient to everything we wanted to do In Florence. Great communication and quick responses. Highly recommend!

Apartment is an old iron work shop delightfully decorated with charming metal sculptures. It's modern and nicely appointed, close to everything but not as crowded. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay! As advised! We will be back! A few flickering lights that were bothersome, but that was not a big deal really - and doesn’t change our overall opinion. Amazing neighborhood and location!! Beautiful renovation. There is a washer, but no dryer- that would have been helpful.

Overall good rental with a few quirks.
Pros:
- Nice apartment with multiple bathrooms
- Good location
- Easy to coordinate with renter
Cons:
- Layer of dust and grease on the kitchen table
- Needed to request two keys for four guests

A Few Steps too all the action
Wonderful and unique La Bottega del Ferro certainly is! Short walks to as much action as you need, or explore the quiet side of the river and all of its uniqueness. Very nice dinner, lunch and breakfast options all in a few block radius.

Great centrally located apartment
This is a nice apartment in a great neighborhood! On a quiet street but only a few blocks from Ponte Vecchio and a short walk to central city. Great coffee bar and other restaurants in the nearby piazza. The apartment was clean and well kept. I would definitely stay again!

Glorious time in Florence!
This is a great apartment, located very close to the city center and has easy access to great restaurants, museums, sites, etc. I highly recommend this to couples not wanting to fight the crazy prices for higher end hotels. Wonderful and just like the pictures indicate!

Wonderful apartment in an ideal location
Ideal location to see all the popular sights. Very easy stroll to the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, Boboli Gardens and more. Great restaurants and gelato all around. In the heart of a lively and hip neighborhood yet tucked away at a quiet end of the street with no car traffic. Apartment has been professionally designed and renovated and is perfectly appointed with everything you need. As former VRBO hosts ourselves we appreciated the extra touches and the work the owner has put in to creating this fabulous place.

Funky, fabulous space!
Phenomenal location and super funky fabulous space! A former blacksmith shop with incredible architectural details maintained in a magically urban update. Luxurious accommodations just steps away from award-winning gelato, pizza, and a hip square tucked away from fabulous shopping and nightlife a block from the river. Short walk to take in all the history and delights that Florence has to offer.
