Great location in a great building. It's perfect for a couple. The main bedroom is in the back of the building so its quiet. Also great to have two bathrooms. It does not have a toaster if you want toast in the mornings (we used a fry pan!) and only has a coffee maker for pods that you can purchase at the grocery store which is conveniently located next door. We had a lovely time in Florence!

Beautiful apartment and setting. Attentive host. Great location. The apartment is well-stocked, and the host even left drinks in the fridge for us! The building is old and beautiful, and the elevator saved us until it stopped working the morning we left. But the stairs were very manageable. Hot tub was great. We washed our clothes, dried our hair, and enjoyed every amenity. The main bedroom is huge and quiet. The loft bedroom was quite loud on weekend nights. We slept fine up there with earbuds in and white noise on.

Wonderful stay in beautiful Florence

This is our 9 th visit to Florence- our favorite city in the world. We loved our apartment. Great location, convenient supermarket downstairs and nice furniture. We were a couple and one girlfriend so plenty of room. The upstairs loft which serves as a 2nd bedroom is a double sofa bed which was fine for a single not sure for two because no privacy.master bedroom and bath very nice. 2nd bathroom no shower but big jacuzzi tube plus washing machine.Would love to stay here again- perfect week in Florence making more memories.

Santa Croce - 3 nights - first stop from Rome

I picked this property because it was close to everything. After leaving the train from Rome it was simple to walk to the property. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. Place was historical with high elaborate ceilings. Beds were comfortable, shower worked well. Enjoyed our stay. cheers

Our Favorite Location

It's a beautiful apartment in a great location. We always stay in the Santa Croce area - lots of fine restaurants and out of the hordes of tourists. However we did have a few problems with the apartment: the kitchen sink clogged up every time, the shower stall had broken tiles and mold, the loft couch had a broken slat and was not very comfortable for two adults, there were no instructions for the dishwasher, washing machine and tv. For what we paid for a 12 day stay, these things were a disappointment. Susanna was very helpful and I'm sure will take care of things for future guests.

Santa Croce - apartment in beautiful old building

The host (Susanna) is excellent. She provides information and responds promptly. She has been very helpful and it makes all the difference. The apartment is in a lovely old building and is spacious. What would make the apartment even better would be to enclose the mezzanine (2nd bedroom) to reduce noise from the road and to seal it off from being open to the living area and kitchen. I recommend a proper bed, rather than a sofa bed too. The location is perfect. Would recommend staying. The apartment is close to all the main tourist attractions, restaurants and amenities.

Beautiful property / but too loud at night

The property was very nice and the location was INCREDIBLE for many of our purposes. Taxi Que was a short walk away and most of our excursion pick up locations were very close by. The 2nd bedroom is an open loft so no privacy and bathroom downstairs. It might work for a family with parents in the private bedroom & young children in the loft. The street noise was really over bearing and our friends that were in the loft got zero sleep. The bathroom downstairs does not have a shower so it was a bit inconvenient for our purposes (2 couples), but that was disclosed in the description of the property!!! The house is beautiful and our host did all she could to assist with a few oddities. It is a beautiful property in a great location but very noisy through the wee hours of the morning. Wonderful location!!!!

Our recent stay in this lovely apartment in Florence's city center was a highlight of our 3-week Tuscan adventure. We stayed in three other intriguing accommodations during the trip, and this one was by far the most comfortable. Beds, the roomy living area, access to A/C (we barely used it in mid-September), and the best TV set-up we encountered all contributed to an incredibly pleasant stay. Oh, and the tub! Incredible, and unique among our Tuscan lodgings. The kitchen is functional and beautiful. The apartment is an amazing space aesthetically, with furnishings that resonate with its architectural character and ceilings that must be at least 20 feet in height topped with gorgeous frescoes. The building itself is incredible too. We enjoyed imagining all the lives lived there in the deep past. And of course it has location, location, location. Our goal was to park our rental car for our stay and get a real break from driving in the region, and that couldn't have gone more smoothly. Our communications with our host Susanna were incredibly helpful from start to finish. And one more note in terms of comfort, we were concerned at first that the second, loft bedroom would be less than workable. But the bed was quite comfortable, the apartment darkens beautifully, and it was very, very quiet at night. Bottom line, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book this serene space again!

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Florence!

We loved our stay in at this beautiful apartment in the heart of Florence! The owner was flexible, communicative, helpful and nice overall. Susanna made our check-in convenient leaving the apartment keys at a lockbox and arranged parking for us at a paid garage 50 meters from the door. The apartment was very clean, spacious, beautifully styled and felt very homey. It was fully equipped with everything you need to have a relaxing vacation. The apartment is on the second floor and has an elevator in the building. The master bedroom is very large and quite overlookg the backside of the apartment. The second bedroom is on an elevated second level of the apartment without a door. The apartment is centrally located walkable to nearby cafes and restaurants, and a grocery store located in the ground floor of the building. La Prosciutteria Firenze was definitely our favorite sandwich restaurant. We would definitely return to Florence and stay at this apartment again! Thank you!

This apartment was very clean and the owners were very nice and so helpful when we were trying to find a taxi during the recent rail strike. The only thing is the 2nd bedroom Is really a loft- so if you are looking for a true bedroom with a door for privacy- this apartment would not work

We really enjoyed our stay here! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our family with kids. Parking right across the street was a huge plus, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to Santa Croce and surrounded by lots of great restaurants and cafes. Having a grocery store right downstairs made it so easy to grab breakfast items and snacks.A few small things to note: the master bathroom was a bit tight and only one shower ( jacuzzi in other bath), also we are asked to strip the linens before leaving. We also had to pay the tourist fee in cash, would’ve been easier if it were included through VRBO charges.Overall, though, it was a wonderful stay in a perfect spot for exploring Florence. We’d happily stay here again!
