The palce was mostly clean and usable but dont expect a 5 star stay. It was very quiet and a nice place to stay. I did not run into anyone else a single time while staying there. There is great food nearby, I mean amazing food. You are far from the rest of Florence though. I thought we would be closer and it wouldnt be too much of a hassle but it was more annoying than I anticipated. There is a bus right nearby which solves that problem mostly. There are also great bars nearby. overall great place to stay but dont expect some super nice hotel.

good location, in june there were a ton of bugs in the room that would fly in my face at night and the staff said its normal in italy at that time of year. no shampoo included at this location so plan accordingly. the staff was kind, so given that its a hostel it was a good experience but the insects really made my stay worse.

Loved this place, 100/10!! Super safe neighborhood, close to town (15-20 minute walk). Best part was air conditioning. Host was very helpful in recommending places to visit! Highly recommend! We were 2 young females and felt very safe here

Struttura pulita, con aria condizionata in tutte le camere, a mio avviso con ottima posizione perché in pochi minuti a piedi si è a ponte vecchio. Personale gentile e preparato per qualsiasi consiglio di visita. Consiglio sicuramente.

3rd time staying here

Ostello is a great location, away from the touristy areas. My husband and I chose this place, for the 3rd time because it’s in a local & quiet neighborhood. There are about 3 restaurants and a gelato place within 3 min of walking. We stayed for a week (for the 3rd time) and here’s things to consider. You won’t be getting new towels, toilet paper and change of sheets, after staying many days, unless you ask. We stayed for a week, as a family of 4, and had to ask for new towels and more toilet paper. Yes, we even bought our own toilet paper and brought our own towels. There is a laundry mat, within 5 minutes, which was useful. There were some nights where food and drinks were available to buy, but not every day.
