Ideal for quite days in Florence. Staff very quite and welcoming. Breakfast Atmosphere is so silent no music addition throughout my 4 days stay. Power socked was not working and reported to reception but nothing was done. Had to charge appliances in the bathroom. Rooms doors are hollow so you can loudly hear other guests movement. The place has a great potential that could offer better.

Great location for a quiet stay away from city. A quick bus ride down to city center. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My complaint was the air conditioning. It’s antiquated and would not cool the room on the upper floor.

Best Florence gem 💎
I absolutely love this little gem of a hotel. I have stayed here several times when I come to Florence for business. Rooms are quite big and very clean. Some rooms have very large balconies with a fantastic view of Florence and the Duomo. It is about 1.5 km I think from the city wall up in the hills. The family who run it are so friendly. Breakfast is basic but fine. Lovely pool and there are great restaurants within ten minutes walk.

Nice but out of the way stay.
This family owned hotel is excellent in many ways. However, it is far enough from the centre that we found ourselves spending quite a bit on taxis (and we are serious walkers). Breakfast was fine as bad the staff were very helpful!

The hotel is owned by a family is small and quiet a 35 mins walking from all main attractions or you may take the bus into downtown.

Great Location..fantastic hosts!
The Belvedere is a fantastic property. We enjoyed our stay. Simone, his mom and the staff were really helpful and personable. A little updating the facilities will make this a sought after property. We had a fantastic view from our room.

Very Relaxing
A very relaxing and quiet place to stay, in a lovely setting just outside the centre, maybe 20 minutes walk or so, although it is an uphill walk on the way home. Family run, with the level of service and attention you would expect in that situation. No restaurant service in the evenings, but it is only a short walk to a couple of excellent options.

Posso solo dire che il personale e i proprietari sono stati gentilissimi, ma mi dispiace dire che è l'unica cosa positiva, non c'era il frigo in camera, la televisione piccola e lontana, non c'era il ristorante, non ho potuto usare il phone perché usciva il fumo e sono rimasya con i capelli bagnati a mio parere hotel deprimente.

Schönes Hotel im Stil einer alten Villa. Lage zu Fuss ca. 25 Mintuen südlich der Ponte Vecchio. Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Bus) kommt man gut in die Stadt.

A lovely quiet and spacious property 25 min walk from the centre of Florence. Surrounded by tall pine trees, the hotel is somewhat older, all polished wood and classic floors. The room was older and dark, but clean and with an updated bathroom. You either like that charm or want something more modern. Staff were great, warm and kind, and this made up for the rather formal appearance otherwise. Breakfast was excellent in quality and quantitty.

Some of the people who worked there (the owners) were very polite and welcoming. One person in particular was rude and deceitful. At breakfast the reception was also mixed. On the first day it was lovely but it went down hill on the others days with the change of staff. The first room I was given was dark, cramped and depressing but this was changed to a lovely room for the last two nights. However the experience at checkout was awful and the man was rude

as we told at the breakfast you can eat what you want but you can't put on your backpack food like a supermarket, the room that you booked was a regular room, if you was looking for a room with view you could reserve a room with terrace as is wrote on our details of the rooms we changed your room with one with terrace without any charge

The property is nice but not well maintained. The grounds should be raked. It is basically neglected. Pool is small but seems nice and not so far from Florence--about a 20 minute walk. The breakfast was not bad but the room had some issues such as an open vent where mosquitos can enter the bathroom. AC can only be controlled from the office. Etc etc
