Bayside Inn Key Largo

"The room was clean but there were no wash clothes and the floor was very dirty and blackened our feet. The coffee maker was broken, the electrical appliances, micro wave, coffee pot and refrigerator was unplugged and the extension cord was unplugged from the wall. The clock was wrong. Otherwise the vicinity was clean and a beautiful view off the docks and access to the pool and paddle boards and other amenities was great. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and responsive to our needs. The dog park was an asset to us as we had 2 little dogs who love to explore. All in all we will return to this hotel again and recommend it to others with added notes about the room. Tamika was an excellent hostess."

"The ocean view suite had a spectacular view of the basin and ocean. The location is in the middle of everything. The grounds have many private spots right on the ocean. The on site Tiki bar was enjoyable and on Sat there was a live entertainer who was very good. The pools were nice but would be better if cooled. They are remodeling and it was very loud when we arrived on Fri. The associate at the front desk, Jasmine, was professional, responsive, and friendly. She investigated and texted us to let us know it would stop by 5p and not continue until Monday. The room didn't have towel rods or hooks and no wall art. Felt recently remodeled without final touches. These are the only reasons I didn't give it a 5. I would go back."

"Very good setting and good ideas/resort layout. When we arrived to check in, reception couldnt find our booking so took longer than expected. We asked about the sunset boat tour at reception but were told this was a third party on the beach who close at 5 so unable to get further info, would be good if the reception staff could provide more information or take bookings as they are advertising it. Food and drink at the hotel are expensive. General buildings and rooms could do with a bit of tidying up in places. Fire alarm panel in the building we were staying in was beeping with a fault most of the night so didnt manage to sleep too well."
