We have stayed in Folly Beach several times over the past 20 years. This has been our favorite place. Everything was clean. Nice big bathrooms and the views were fantastic! The location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants, but far enough away to not hear it. Highly recommend this place!

Enjoyable stay

The location of the property is what sets it apart. It is directly on the beach with its own walkway. Everything you need during your stay at Folly Beach is within a 5 minute walk. The place itself could have some improvements - more kitchen/house essentials, better bedding, additional seating in the living area.

Great location

We loved how close the condo was to the town of Folly Beach. We could walk everywhere and since parking is a premium, we were very happy about that. The beach was great and the condo was a good size and very clean. The property management company was very quick to respond and very helpful. A great place for a fun vacation!

Great Find

This property was amazing and you can’t beat the location. It’s literally walking distance to everything you could need. The ocean view was amazing. The place was nice and well updated. We frequented going into Charleston since it’s also such an easy drive. This place provided us with a perfect beach getaway.

Folly Beach Stay

We had an excellent time staying at the condo in Folly Beach and thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the ocean. We recommend this location for anyone wanting a beach vacation. The property does not have an elevator so heads up that you will be climbing stairs. That just means you can have extra dessert.

Very clean, loved the layout for 3 friends with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. had most essentials needed for stay. view and location was perfect. didn't even mind the 4 flights up to our unit - view was worth it! would definitely recommend and return.

Location! Views!

Pros: location location location! This is right on the beach, next to a rental beach chair company. All restruants within walking distance. So wonderful to have a parking spot. The space itself was great for my spouse and I. Cons: an unpleasant moldy smell in the kitchen We would definitely rebook this place.

Perfect Location

This was the perfect location. It was localized, close to restaurants and bars, right on the beach. It was so peaceful and relaxing when at the condo. The rooms were nice and the whole place was super clean. My only two cons (and it would not hinder my decision to stay again) is bring your own coffee as no pods or coffee was provided and the bed in room closer to beach seemed to slant. We all agree we would 100% boom again. This one is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator.

Our stay

Place was great! The customer service team were great to work with and communication was great. The place was super clean and we loved being on the beach. We appreciated the early check in - did not appreciate that there was no toilet paper, garbage bags and paper towels, when asked if we could get these items we were told no. WiFi is terrible- kinda surprised with this being such a tourist area. When you rent these places they are not cheap and they should include paper towels, garbage bags and toilet paper. We would stay here again.

Perfect Location

Perfect Location and nicely decorated place. We love to park the car and walk everywhere until time to leave for home. We would make three recommendations. Please add a window covering in the kitchen (we used artwork from the master bedroom). And the shower in the second bath has a high pitched squeal. Please add somewhere to set shampoo, soap in the showers. Folly is our favorite beach, the pier is great, and we will be back!

Rental is not for people with disabilities/ailments/weak

Dunes Properties who manages this property does not disclose that this 3 story (6 flights of stairs) property does not have an elevator, ADA non-compliant or for people with ailments that prevent them from carry heavy luggage up to their rental property. Location of this property is great! Condo was very clean, and decor and view was nice. I personally consider myself strong but was nursing a torn meniscus that got aggravated from climbing so many stairs and carrying luggage and groceries to the 3rd floor. Definitely don't rent second or third floor if you have a medical condition.

Perfect Location

You couldn't ask for a better location. This is one of the first trips where we haven't needed to rent a car. The condo was nice however there could have been a little extra here in cleaning. I'm assuming the people who stayed there before us may have had a child and got poop on one of the decorative bedspreads and the carpet. This was not cleaned. We were asked to remove the sheets and not the quilts when we left. I removed everything because we left there with bites on our legs and arms. I would hope they change quilts out. This could have been from the beach but there was also a ton of sand left all over the condo. May need to steam clean floor in between visitors. It was very humid and difficult to sleep but that is to be expected in South Carolina. The mattresses are bigger than the bed frames which made things a bit uncomfortable and slipped easily off the basic bed frame. It was a great condo stocked with everything we needed I just wish that there was some alternate bedding provided and that it was a bit cleaner. My legs are still healing from whatever bites I got but again that could have been from the beach. Overall I would still stay there again. Management allowed us to check in a little early because our flight came in early and we had a toddler waiting to take a nap. That was super easy to arrange. And again you can't beat this location which was close to everything. Great experience for our family despite those little issues I mentioned.

Folly beach 2025

Beautiful ocean front, clean, very spacious. Perfect for 4 people. only issue is AC stopped working the last night and we had to call maintenance. Everyone was responsive about getting help.

A Great Place to Stay

This rental was pristine and so well decorated! The living areas were roomy and the bedrooms and bathrooms were very well appointed. I loved the cozy extra blanket in the closet. It was a perfect place to end our time sightseeing in Charleston. Also Folly is a fun, funky beach town!

Nice condo with an ocean view!

The condo had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The unit was as described. It was clean, had a great view of ocean, good parking, close to everything. The beds were comfortable. The unit has a door connecting to the next door condo if you need to rent for more space. You can hear the people a bit but it was not a problem. Having an elevator for folks with physical limitations, bringing in luggage and grocery’s would be amazing.
