"What a wonderful place to stay; very peaceful, quiet, extremely clean, spacious and the owners were so enthusiastic about the area and very helpful in showing us what we might like to see. (We thought the area looked like Utah after several weeks in the mountains of Andalucía.) The grocery store is a few minutes drive into town and there is parking right next to the store; very convenient. The pool looked lovely, but was not open yet. We highly recommend La Chumbera for a stay in this area."

"Very nice and clean place, and overall a special experience to pass some days in that traditional cave. The cave has a very good climate, especially when it's hot outside. Beautiful surrounding! And Guadix is a nice town with fair prices. Also Maryse is a very kind host! She has a sense for nice details and has a lot of historical background."

"We had the pleasure of staying in this spectacular home for 1 week early October. This is the 4th vacation rental I have had in Europe and is by far my favorite. This historic home had all the charm yet all the modern conveniences and has everything you can possibly need. We were a family of 7, ages 27 to 83, and loved our stay.
