Words cannot describe how wonderful our stay was at the Rotonda! Nothing was too much trouble for our wonderful hoteliers! We really loved watching the most spectacular sunsets from the terraces ! Looking forward to returning soon. Grazie Miele, Sam.

We had wonderful stay in this family run hotel. The perfect location, the hospitality was exceptional from the moment we arrived Making us feel truly at home. The owner and staff were always available with recommendations with anything we needed. One of the highlights was the breath taking Sunset view from this property. The private decking area with direct access to the sea is perfect for swimming & sunbathing offering a relaxing & picturesque setting. We will definitely be back!

Location was great - public beach within 2 minute walk. The hotel deck with beach chairs and umbrellas was awesome, walk straight into the ocean!! Staff so lovely. Breakfast was good - Cornetto, coffee, cut fruit which we ate on the deck overlooking the ocean. Airconditioning was good, hot water in shower was a bit touchy but OK. Had a smartTV. A lovely safe 15-20 minute walk to Forio town - walk along the beach coastline. The room was cleaned daily and was very clean. FYI: no safety deposit box in the room The reason I have scored lower is that the kitchenette in the room was dirty, when we arrived there was half filled bottles of water from previous occupant in the fridge, the utensils/cutlery were dirty and there was no dish washing liquid (had to buy own), no t-towel (used towel to dry dishes). It could have just been our room, but didn't leave a good vibe for us; unfortunately cause it really is a lovely hotel.

We really enjoyed staying at La Rotonda sul Mare. It was the perfect location for our vacation. Amerigo and his staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food was delicious and well served. The sun deck over the water was perfect to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. We would love to stay there again.

Our stay at La Rotonda Sul Mare was one of the highlights of our Italy trip. The location is beautiful—right by the sea with a wonderful sun deck where we loved relaxing and taking in the views. Breakfast overlooking the water quickly became one of our favorite daily rituals. The accommodations were very comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and well cared for, and we especially appreciated the good water pressure after long days exploring Ischia. What made this stay truly special, however, was the hospitality. Amerigo and the entire staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. Amerigo went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable—generously giving us rides when needed, sharing his knowledge and love of Ischia, and even lending our son beach toys so he could fully enjoy the beach. La Rotonda Sul Mare was also wonderful for traveling with children. Our son felt welcome and comfortable, and the relaxed atmosphere, beach access, and kindness of the staff made family travel easy and enjoyable. The meals were delicious and the atmosphere felt warm and personal. We left with wonderful memories and felt less like guests and more like friends. Highly recommend and would happily return.

Our stay exceeded expectations. The staff is wonderful, the location is perfect for relaxing or setting off on an adventure and helpful with any questions about the area. I plan on returning and see my new friends again.

Reisen til Forio og dette hotellet møtte alle forventninger vi hadde! Stedet og plassen var helt fenomenal. Her kommer vi tilbake. Sjefen kjørte oss til havnen på sistedag.

This was our second time visiting Forio and we were so glad we stayed here. The location is amazing and the sun deck is great for watching evening sunsets. The family are welcoming hosts who do everything to ensure you enjoy your stay. We can’t wait until our next visit.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer, hat eine Holzterrasse mit Liegestühlen und einen eigenen Zugang zum Meer. Das beschauliche Hotel wird als Familienbetrieb geführt, wo jeder mithilft, damit alle anfallende Aufgaben erledigt werden. Es bietet zwar nicht alle Annehmlichkeiten, aber das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend, und kümmert sich sofort um persönliche Anliegen der Gäste. Uns wurde innert kürzester Zeit ein Mietwagen vermittelt. Das Hotelrestaurant öffnet morgens etwas spät. Wenn man früh los will (Wandern, Inseltour), sorgt man besser selbst für die Verpflegung. Am Abend läuft relativ wenig im Hotel und die Bar schliesst dementsprechend früh. Den Gutenacht-Cocktail spätabends genehmigt man sich daher vorzugsweise in der Bar im nahegelegenen Städtchen Forio. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet, jedoch teilweise nicht sehr gross. Die Zimmer sind aber auch verhältnismässig günstig gegenüber anderen Hotels in der Umgebung und ist haustierfreundlich. Und bei Urlaub auf Ischia dient das Hotelzimmer ja ohnehin nur zum schlafen und duschen, da es so viel auf dieser Insel zu sehen gibt. Das „La Rotonda Sul Mare“ ist klein aber fein. Uns hat es alles in allem gefallen und wir würden es auch einigen Freunden weiter empfehlen.
