Parfaite
Mobil home très agréablement décorée et de façon très fonctionnelle, nous aurions pu y rester une semaine. Seul petit point moins positif s'il en faut un, les chambres sont assez petites, la salle de bain un peu étroite mais nous sommes dans un mobil home :-) L'espace de vie, lui, est optimisé et suffisamment grand pour y être avec 2 adultes et 2 enfants pour notre part. La literie est parfaite

És una caseta molt bufona, decorada amb molt de gust. Té de tot i no hi falta cap detall. L'amfitriona és molt agradable. La casa està situada a les afores de poble, però tot i així, és molt a prop del centre. Molt tecomanable!

Een fijne plek om mooie uitstapjes te maken naar bijvoorbeeld Fort William, Ben Nevis, Inverness en op loopafstand van Loch Ness. De caravan is niet ruim maar heeft alle denkbare voorzieningen. De PlayStation met diverse games was een leuke extra.

Lovely house that need some maintenance.
Nice house with all the needed amenities, and the hosts really lovely but... The were problem with the hot weather, either not working and when there is, it has a really low pressure and The Wi-Fi isn't really working. Generally, the house needs a some maintenance. Note that the bedrooms are really tiny.

responding to Shaul Ghivolys comments, we have never had any problems with this before, and looking into this problem straight away, we found out the gas cylinder had a faulty valve which caused all the problems, it is now fixed. It is a static home not a house as the photos show, so most people are very surprised with all the accomodation you get inside.

A caravan is not a hotel! Very misleading website, Also, bad directions to the property.

i thought i had better correct this review! The word Hotel has never been used to describe this accomodation, it is not a Caravan, it is a large modern static home, which has 3 bedrooms, livingroom, 2 toilets, fully stocked kitchen, dining table etc. i have photos of inside and outside which most people would look at before booking!.this booking was for 1 person, who contacted me and said 2 people were now coming, would the beds be made up? i replied the 3 bedrooms are always made up ( what hotel would you get 3 bedrooms in the one accomodation! ) as for directions, she was sent clear directions, which most people have no problems following!

Cosy and Convenient
Very cosy accommodation. Great location for exploring the surrounding area. Host made us feel very welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. Ideal stay for the Loch Ness marathon as there is a bus pickup point in nearby in Fort Augustus.

The property was very clean and had a very nice living room. It comfortably fit 4 people along with having a well equipped kitchen. There was even a game console and a TV to play videogames. The beds were very comfortable and we were surprised to see that there were two bathrooms. The location is great, close to Loch Ness and the owner was very nice to provide us with milk. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and if we had to we would even live there.

As stated in other reviews this is not a cottage but a mobile home, this should be obvious from photos. The accommodation is very clean and well equiped with all you would need even a baby chair (which we did not need) also a hair dryer, so no need to bring one. There was tea, coffee, milk and biscuits which was a good touch. The place was clean beds comfortable and well decorated. TV in all rooms (although we could not get the Amazon firestick to work?) We enjoyed our stay even though the weather was not good. would recommend.

Cold Caravan not Cottage
When searching for a base for our 4-night Highland adventure we came across this property offering a 3 bedroom cottage which seemed ideal. On arrival we found it to be a static caravan, and I have to say as caravans go, it was a luxury one. The lady that showed us around the property was very friendly and gave good information on things to do locally. Unfortunately the property was cold on arrival despite some of the heating having been turned on. The following day we left the radiators on so when came back it wouldn't be so cold when we get back but the heating had been turned off completely so it was even colder than the previous day, this happened again the following day and after this we decided there was no point even trying to keep it warm and was on the countdown to leaving the property. The accommodation was clean and good amenities provided but was not the "cottage" we had hoped for. The location is a great base for a tour of Loch Ness/Inverness/Isle of Skye & Ben Nevis with a free parking space at the property, so I'm sure this property would work for some but it wasn't for us. The living area is quite spacious but the bathrooms and bedrooms are very tight.

Our photos clearly show the inside and outside of the property, obviously you did not look at them, as for the heating, i want my guests to be warm and comfortable, our heaters are thermostatically controlled, when but when all the heaters are turned UP to full power, like you did, even in the bedroom you did not use, they stay on constantly, we have a note which tells our guests this, obviously you did not read that either, so when you were out for over 12 hours, with heaters on full, i turned them down, you did the same the next day, so i turned them off, hoping to talk with you, but could not catch you in, the electric meter has used a ridiculous amount of money, The weather was mild, and you are from the UK, why did you talk to me instead of putting it in a review?

When booking it said riverside cabin , but when we got there it was a caravan in someones garden . The caravan was very clean and the lady was lovely ,but i just didnt like the idea of being in someones garden .

thankyou for your review Claire, as the photos clearly show it is not a riverside cabin, i have clear photos of inside and outside the Static home, maybe you didnt look at them!! The static home sits in its own garden, with private parking, there is also a bar-b-Que and table, chairs etc outside to enjoy when the weather is nice!

Well not what we expected as this is advertised as a cottage and not a static caravan. Surely this is false advertising???. It was very clean inside but not what we was expecting at all. Very disappointed as we had 2 elderly people staying with us and again as we all thought it was a cottage not a caravan. Shame

On arrival, you were all complimenting how lovely it was, as i showed you in, no one, elderly or otherwise had any problems moving around. I have loads of photos inside and outside the mobile home for you to see before you book with us, so shame on you for not looking at the photos, before you booked.

Useful as a base
This is a mobile home accommodation, on the grounds of a personal home. It was clean and well furnished. We were given a lovely welcome by the owner when we arrived, with tea and coffee provided. The basics of what we needed were provided, and everything worked well. Fort Augustus is a lovely area, so we used it as a base to travel around and explore the surrounding areas.

Did the job for us
The cottage certainly did the job for my family over two nights. It wasn't difficult to find, and the hostess had good communication to help us. It had most of what we would need for a self- catering place. I will say it was very tight inside, and awkward to use the shower and sinks, which brought down the comfort rating a bit, and while I appreciate the bread, milk, and margarine provided, it wasn't the "continental breakfast" advertised. All told, though, it worked well for a couple nights.

Lovely stay
We had a lovely 3 night stay. Property is very clean, beds are very comfy and has a good hot water shower. Plenty of tea and coffee. No breakfast provided. Host had the heaters on when we arrived which was very nice. Port augustus is lovely, nice walks, cycling and lovely food down the center which is 15mins walk thou we drove. Overall we'd come back

Everything you could need in a compact space. Lovely and clean with everything left for a good breakfast. Beds were very comfortable. Can't think of anything to improve on. Great place to stay in a quiet location. You could walk into Fort Augustus if you wanted - probably a 15 minute walk. (We drove!). Lovely town, well worth a visit.

Everything you could want
Well stocked with everything you could need for a stay. Perfect for travelling with a family. Everyone gets their own bed but then there is a space to be together.

Thankyou for your review, but it is a static home, not a house therefore it is smaller, there is no cooking, because it is set up as a bed and breakfast, but you can use the microwave, enjoy the rest of your holiday best wishes

Rooms and corridor are very tiny and make it very difficult to move around the house, specially bedrooms and bathrooms. The dinning room is comfortable and well equiped with TV; PS, games.... and the garden around is nice. The location is good to move around It mentioned breakfast included but it consisted in some packaged products provided by the owner the day before. In my opinion it is expensive

I was very surprised at this review, on arrival you were delighted, there is loads of photos to view inside and outside before you booked with us. It is a static home and not a house! and the absurd remark about the breakfast,of course there is some pre packaged foods, mixed jam portions, yoghurts, juices, variety of cereals, porridge, oatcakes, butters, ground coffee and instant, variety of teas, but I put fresh milk, breads and fruits in every day, I also put a variety of mixed cheeses in the fridge, which i found left around the bedroom, the place was very untidy, dishes unwashed, wet towels left on the bed, i just find this to be such a futile review from you.
