  • Glass Beach is a beach in MacKerricher State Park near Fort Bragg, California, that is abundant in sea glass created from years of dumping garbage into an area of coastline near the northern part of the town. Once upon a time the sand was coated in brightly colored bits of sea glass, and social media is full of photos that make it look as if the sand still looks that way, but that isn't the case. Over the years the public has raided the beach of much of its glass. Now at first look, some might say it looks like any other ordinary beach. Yes you can still find glass here, but you have to look for it, and most of colored glass is long gone. It all makes for a fun little treasure hunt however! This house was absolutely Amazing and Beautiful. It was the perfect setting for my family and I!

You can tell from the minute you pull up to the property how special and amazing this property is for a family to enjoy a beautiful getaway. Everyone in the family from ages 3 - Adult had something to always be doing and laughing or smiling the entire time. This is an Amazing little Gem we definitely planning coming back to

Spectacular view

We enjoyed our stay at this property, despite being rainy most days, we enjoyed the view, the peace and quiet, the amenities kept us busy indoors. On one sunny day, we were able to walk around the property which was enjoyable. We had a visit from 2 herons, 2 ducks, a hawk, 2 crows, a rabbit and a stray dog. Unfortunately the hawk kept swooping by scaring the ducks and the heron away. The living room was great for movie night or just watching the fire! We all fit just fine and the reclining chairs was a plus! We hope to come back another time!
