  • Walk through the gate to picture the beautiful ocean and river at your finger tips! Mother Nature abounds at this small rustic home complete with large new redwood deck, remodeled bathroom to include a claw foot tub and walk in shower. There is a cozy TV room complete with lazy boy recliner’s and big screen TV with many channels and NFL ticket for the football fans. There is a boat house at rivers edge with kayaks and canoe to head up rive to see the river otters, seal, and birds of all kinds even our resident eagles! Paddle across the river and walk the beach never getting into your car. There is a new fire pit to enjoy day or night with wood provided. There is a Weber grill and gas grill for your culinary needs. Sit back and just relax with your book on the deck, from bed or out by the fire pit. Birds abound here and any number of woodland and river creatures. Enjoy.

This VRBO is amazing!! Such a beautiful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the busy world around us. Great home, amazing views, and the property, river, and beach are BEAUTIFUL. The kayaks really make this place special as you adventure around and can kayak back home to a restful cabin for relaxation afterwards. Will be booking again .

We really enjoyed are stay. We had a couple of things that needed attention. Cathy was right on top of it. The second bedroom doesn't have a lot of privacy. But it also has a great view. Overall, we had a great stay for my mom's 83rd Birthday. I would stay there again.

We had the absolute best time at this amazing Fort Bragg cottage! Honestly, the views are unreal. Sitting out on the deck with a morning coffee or watching the sunset was definitely the highlight of our trip.The location couldn't be better. It is so peaceful and quiet, yet super close to everything. We loved being able to walk right out the door to beautiful beaches and coastal trails, while still being just a quick drive into town to grab food or explore.Our hosts were wonderful and truly made us feel right at home. They were so welcoming. The cottage itself was spotless, super cozy, and had everything we could possibly need.We completely fell in love with this place and already want to vacation here again! If you are heading to the coast, do yourself a favor and book this spot.

Location, location, location! This Ocean View retreat is exactly what we needed to recharge and relax. There are different views from every aspect of the property with its multiple decks and firepit area. It’s only a short drive to the dog friendly beach, and you can literally kayak (provided by host) to the ocean or across the river to explore the dunes. The house is a bit quirky but has a new tv room, remodeled bathroom, and a fully stocked kitchen. The all glass room with the bed was great for napping but not really conducive for a third guest, unless you want to get up at dawn, because there are no curtains. Overall, the house would not be suitable for toddlers as it is not child proofed and the spacing between the deck rails is too large for their safety.We had adults only and really enjoyed our stay!

This is such a wonderful home to stay at. Very rustic and charming. Very clean, relaxing and the views are great. We loved the fun collection of salt and pepper shakers. We will be making this home part of our next trip for sure.

Absolutely beautiful setting on the river and beyond is the ocean waves. It’s very relaxing both outside on the decks or inside where you have views of the ocean and river. We hope to return.

It’s a great location and views. Bonfire was fun, and we walked over the bridge to ten mile beach. My only criticism would be that there were ants everywhere. We were cleaning them off counters, furniture and even in the bed. Bring your own water too. But it was a fun little place to stay in overall!

Grooving with Nature at it's finest

Rustic luxury for us - we love being close to nature and far from the crowds. It's a bit like glamping, but with more amenities.

wonderful retreat!!

wonderful place for a retreat and recharge, rustic, secluded and beautiful yard, basically your own botanical garden with ocean veiw. Kayaking to an empty beach and enjoying the fire pit were highlights.. just a beautiful slice of coastal heaven..
