“It was nice, cozy and calm. Just be aware that you are not in Shasta downtown and there is nothing around, so being there without a car is not ideal. ”

“This is a magical property. The grounds are gorgeous. And the house is comfortable and charming, with creative touches throughout. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. There’s even a sweet cat named Mittens who comes by to visit and hang out on the porch. The home could be further improved by more counter space in the bathroom. Otherwise it’s perfect. We plan on staying again! ”

“Only stayed one night while passing through area, but property met needs very well. Nice layout, well equipped. Appreciated having coffee beans and grinder available for morning. Given short length of stay we didn't cook, but instead had dinner at local pizza joint which was very good and priced well. No complaints, would have enjoyed a longer stay I'm sure.”

“Scott and Mary were very helpful prior to and throughout the stay answering our questions and making sure we had everything we needed. Check in was a breeze. We are so grateful that they allow 4 dogs, as it's difficult to find a place that even allows 2 (esp. without size restrictions). They had a dog crate and bowls set up for the dogs in the garage upon arrival. So thoughtful! The fenced backyard was an added bonus! The house is lovely.
