FREE PARKING AND FREE WIFI!! This lovely 2nd floor, 2 bedroom/ 2 bath corner unit with a wrap-around balcony and numerous windows allow for endless views of the Gulf of Mexico! Sit back, relax and take in all the endless views this corner unit has to offer!!! Featuring a full-size washer and dryer in the utility closet, a full kitchen, mirror /counter area in the hallway, and a private balcony. The property is highlighted with a rooftop pool – A REAL MUST SEE with BREATH-TAKING VIEWS of the Gulf!!
Gulfside is one of the smaller complexes offering only 15 units, so if you are looking to avoid the crowds, then this is the place for you! The beach always feels private and quiet compared to the larger properties. This second-floor corner condo is real hidden gem! Unit has Smart TV's with streaming only: subscriptions not provided.

Gulfside Condominiums is close to Fort Walton’s shopping and dining and a mere ten minutes from Destin, it has a rooftop pool area that provides one of the best views on Okaloosa Island. Guests can get to the beach from the boardwalk at the base of the parking area and can use a barbeque grill that is located along this boardwalk as well.

Overall nice place. The location was very good. Carpet in smaller bedroom needs cleaned at minimum and probably replaced. TVs in the bedrooms were impossible to figure out. They just need a simple setup for these TVs.

Nice condo in a great location

We loved our stay at Ft Walton Beach! The condo was exactly as described. Lots of space with comfortable beds and couches. My teenage boys loved going to the gym every morning and the pool every night! Beach service was great. Plenty of chairs available. If you want a front row spot take your towels down at 8am when they set up to reserve your spot. You can claim your chairs and come back later. This is one of the smaller buildings with less units so that means the beach is less crowded than some of the larger buildings. Very pleased and we would definitely stay again!

Great Family Condo

Our visit was great! The beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. They set up the beach chairs really early which is nice. The only thing we didnt like was the pool. It's rooftop which offers a great view but thats about the only perk. Most of the chairs up there are very old and there is NO SHADE not a single awning or umbrella. The beds were very comfortable and the furnishings were nice. The kitchen definitely needs updating but its clean and functional. The kitchen supplies are pretty limted. I bought a frozen pizza for the kids only to realize there wasnt a single cookie sheet to be had. Most condos we've stayed at will have things left over from previous people (salt, pepper, maybe napkins or a trash bag) everything is cleaned out between people so prepare accordingly. We enjoyed our stay but wouldn't stay in that building again just due to the pool.

Beautiful condo, perfect location!

This is a perfect condo for a stay on the beach! A few staples like coffee, coffee filters, windex or Clorox wipes would have been appreciated. Most rentals have at least basic necessities. Otherwise it was a 5 star stay!

The condo is better than advertised. Very clean and spacious. It is in a quiet area. The view from the balcony is very cool. A very short walk to the beach. Chairs were set up every morning. There is a good convenience store an easy walk away.

Great condo.

Great condo in a great location. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Loved the balcony overlooking the water. We had an issue with the A/C and the property manager was great with getting us the help we needed, very quickly. Easy check in/check out! Absolutely wonderful experience.

Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. The location is absolutely perfect! Right on the beach, right next to the beach access walkway. The chair service was outstanding. The beach attendant is so nice and helpful. The condo is nice and large, plenty of space for our family. I wish the lighting in the rooms were better--only lamps light the bedrooms and living room area. And we were disappointed that the pool wasn't finished by the time of our trip; it was projected to be finished before Memorial Day. But that didn't ruin our trip at all. We hope to stay again in the future!

Beach Vacation.

The property was just as pictured and had plenty of room for me and my family. Local to lots of restaurants and activities. WiFi kept going down and had to keep logging back in but not that big of a deal. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely book this condo again.

Absolutely loved this place!

This was our first time at this Condo. We absolutely loved the location and the floor plan of the Condo. It’s spacious and very accommodating. The best part was that it was a short walk to the beach and two beach chairs and an umbrella were provided daily free of charge. Truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place. I do plan to return in the future😊

Not Up To Expectations

We were disappointed with our condo. We paid a significant amount of money for 3 nights here, and have been let down. The location is great, but otherwise, we were not happy. The the floors were filthy (my 1 year old son’s feet were black on the bottoms after running around for 15 mins in here), the tables and some counter surfaces appeared to not be wiped off, there was only hand soap in the one bathroom (and only one bar) and none in the kitchen, the carpets appear to be filthy and worn, multiple lamps do not work, the sheets were ill-fitting, the blinds are broken in some places or let lots of light in and the makeshift curtains didn’t cover the whole window, and a pillow case in the one room didn’t fit someone just put two pillowcases on it from opposite directions. Also, the advertised pictures showed a bunk bed in the one room, but the bed was not a bunk bed when we got here. My kids don’t have a bunk bed at home and were very excited to sleep in one here, so they were very disappointed. We knew we were renting a unit with outdated furnishings, and we were fine with that, especially for the location, but the cleanliness and care for the unit left us wanting. This was a big expense for us to go there, so to disappoint my wife and kids was frustrating. The location was great though. If you don't care about the interior, the balcony was great and the location was right on the beach,

Some of the photos in the listing has changed since this posting. The bunk beds are no longer bunk beds, but a twin and a full bed. So if your expecting extra floor space, you'll be mistaken when you get there. Also, the carpet is very old and damp feeling. It makes it very nasty to walk on bare foot. The appliances are out dated. The master bathroom is beautiful! The couch is comfortable, but worn and not so inviting at first. The location is perfect! The building in a whole is older than the surrounding buildings so just expect that too. The view is spectacular. In all honesty, the only thing that was distasteful was the carpet. I have 2 babies and 2 younger kids so they were all over the carpet and I was grossed out.

Perfect view and great location

We love the location of the Condo and that there's not many units in the building. Having the chairs and umbrella daily is wonderful. It's a wonderfull stay and this is the 2nd time we have stayed in this condo. Our only issue would be the carpet in the bedrooms. They have a smell from being so close the water etc. I would recommend switching it out to all tile like everything else in the Condo. Definitely will be back and highly recommend!

Exactly what we needed

The property is nice and clean. There are a few little areas of wear and tear that could use attention, but nothing distracting. The location was the BEST. We were concerned about college-age spring breakers and heavy crowds, with COVID still looming. This area was perfect. So glad we didn't stay closer/in Destin where one would think there was no pandemic at all. Still, we were surprised that restaurant staff didn't mask up. But I guess that's to be expected in FL/AL.

Good location, bad wifi

The condo was as advertised, moderately comfortable but could use updating. The pool had no tables or umbrellas so it was not very comfortable to hang out at. The beach service was great. The bad thing about this place and the reason for my three star review was the WiFi. The WiFi is not configured in a way that makes it easy to use securely. It is set up so that you log on and then a pop up comes up to ask for the password. However, more than half the times I logged on it did not ask for a password and it was like using an unsecured network. I called the management office to complain because I could not log on securely to do my work. The office said they couldn’t help me so I was not able to get any work done. Do not come here if you plan to work remotely and need reliable and secure WiFi.

Location amazing, property NEEDS cleaning overhaul

We loved the location but were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the unit. We were thankful that the sand had been vacuumed up and the counters wiped down but overall the unit needs a cleaning overhaul. We have several photos if items caked in dust. We also realize that the furniture gets used by a lot of different guests but the photos do not reflect the wear, age and dirt collected on the furniture. We also had kids that were super excited to sleep in the bunk beds pictured to only arrive with them as individual beds. When we went to add, the truly appreciated, extra blanket to keep our youngest warm we were out of luck. It had what appeared to be a never washed large blood stain on it. It is all about location location location for this place. We were appreciative that the bathrooms were clean but overall the place needs a major cleaning overhaul.

Fort Walton Getaway

Great location right on the beach was perfect for our party which included 3 small children. Rooftop pool was great--able to overlook the ocean. Clean facility, plenty of room for our 7 guests. Would definitely stay again!
