Needs some attention

We are repeat visitors to Waterscape and love the location and property. However- this unit needs a major deep clean and some updates. Stained pillows and mattress covers, marks and scuffs all over the walls, baseboards, ceilings and overall needs a deep, deep cleaning.

Condo is very worn. Furniture in living room dirty and stained. Toaster didn't work and overall not clean enough for what I paid. Also most condos provided beach setup but this one did not. The pool and beach are are swesome

Nice, updated furnishings & close to parking

This was our 2nd trip to Waterscape, and we really enjoy the resort. Last time we were just a few units back from the ocean, and enjoyed that view more, but this unit was less $, and being close to parking also has its perks, especially when carts aren’t available to haul luggage & groceries back and forth. This unit also has a larger balcony area than most, which was nice. I think we’ll move closer next time, though. The furnishings are updated, so it has a fresh vibe to it. Last time the unit we stayed in had outdated, somewhat dusty furnishings, so this was nicer in that regard. There was some minor dust and other issues upon arrival, but some of those issues were quickly resolved once I let the property manager know. She was very detailed and responsive, which I appreciated. My biggest complaints were a strong musty/mildew smell right upon entering, and a filthy area rug in the main living room, which I also notified them about. An attempt was made to clean out the washing machine w vinegar, but the smell was right by the door, and that wasn’t the culprit, so the smell never went away. The smell was strongest near where the kids slept in bunk area, so that was a concern. Also, the living room rug was so dirty & sticky your feet turned black and had all sorts of hair & other debris sticking to them, which was unpleasant. I understand that it wasn’t changed right away, as that’s not something easily/quickly replaced. I also understand we rented at the end of the season, but I think a rug which can be cleaned more thoroughly and often would be much better. Had I known about the smell and the rug, I would have rented a different unit. Only 2 kitchen trash bags were provided, 1 roll of paper towels, and no shampoo, etc. I don’t recall if this is standard for Waterscape units, but we provide plenty of these inexpensive amenities in our rentals. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Waterscape, and we will be back!

Family friendly

Excellent for a family vacation. There were activities for the kids at the pool and they played with other family kids. Access to the beach was easy and the beach was perfect.

Great time with Family

Our family of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids under 8) enjoyed a week. The condo was amazing with space for everyone and the deck/patio was a favorite place to hang out. The access to the beach and pool - awesome!

Had trouble with washing machine in room and drone flying near our balcony . Had to turn off some gas grills along the pool area , you could smell gas .Please have security guard check thiose at times Thanks

Great Family Stay

Loved the location on the beach and close to Destin as well. Unit was just as we expected and enjoyed our stay! Pool is a bit overcrowded, but we did spend most of our time on the beach!

Two years in a row

We selected this property in 2021 for our family vacation and was very pleased. The weather the first year want the greatest, so we tried it again in 2022. Wonderful!

Condo was very clean! Looked just like the pictures. The resort was great for our family, the kids 2.5 and 5 years old loved the pools and easy walk to the beach every day! The beach was clean and the sand was SO soft! Live music at the restaurant across the street was nice, also walking distance to ice cream and putt putt. Kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfasts, dinner and blended margaritas. We will definitely book again if we’re in the area!

This was our second time at Waterscape and both stays were great. Everything about this place is convenient. We have taken two different groups of people with us about it suits everyone's needs. From the accessibility for our machore adults to plenty of fun things for the kids. The views and wildlife are breathtaking! We see dolphins everytime right at the beach.
