Lightbulbs out, AC didnt work, broken furniture shoved in closet, tub handle laying on shelf. For 300 fee, i thought they would at least pick up and make sure unit was ready. I would not recommend staying here.

Renter beware! Dirty, broken down stone prison far from “elegant” Host horrible, worst stay ever

Booked 1 week- progressively got worse each day discovering more and more problems. Wish had room to elaborate but summary of major things: all outlets in both bathrooms broken (dry hair in hall), light bulbs broken or missing in both bathrooms, shower curtain is fabric (no liner) and likely never washed. Bedroom light broken, Chiller broken. Refrigerator broke on 4th day- lost all food had purchased for stay. Floors, shutters, air vents all filthy. Old food fell out of couch. Worst of all the host was terrible- none of this was fixed entire stay- couldn’t even deliver a bulb for 7 days I offered to put in- said had to have maintenance do, Host never initiated follow ups with issues, I had to constantly reach out, got repeated standard responses saying understand, we treat this seriously, will be in touch when update about repairs- never happened! Had we known host was lying abt doing any repairs,would have left sooner. Dirty scuffed walls, concrete floors w one disgusting rug in LR make it feel like stone prison, not comfortable. All kitchen utensils dirty,forks all bent,limited kitchen items for use. Host refused to compensate for anything when asked for lost food in refrig, having to eat out, etc- contacted vrbo,then offer tiny of 1300 cost-half 1st offer was cost of groceries we lost.Ruined trip-time/energy/stress reporting issues w photos, videos -dealing with host and ultimately vrbo to demand compensation for unit that was rented but not checked as suitable to rent.
