“Location”

“The facility was not one of the brand new hotels operated by a large company. But it was just right for me. There was not a lot of amenities, but I didn't plan my stay to be hours lounging around a swimming pool. So the place was perfect for my stay. But what really stood out was the cleanliness, property upkeep, delicious food at the restaurant, and most of all, the pleasant attitude of everyone with whom I interacted. I plan to stay there next year when I go to the EAA Airventure in Oshkosh.”

“Such a hidden gem. From the check in to dinner at Nuks Thai we had a wonderful stay. I enjoyed walking by the nearby park and my husband enjoyed fishing in the river.”

“I would look elsewhere. Cearly this is a old hotel converted to Spark. It is trying to meet the minimun Hilton standards. The elevator floor were gross. The water fountain in the pool area was disgusting. Not a "standard" for cleanliness. A disappointing cold breakfast. A leak in the bathroom ceiling took days to fix. The bathroom linens were clean and in good shape.”

“Used the pool. It was great! Staff was nice and friendly. They have some kind of reduced housekeeping, we stayed for 4 days and were supposed to get house keeping on day 3, but it didn't happen. We had to ask for towels. Pros: beds were comfy, great location, breakfast was decent, coffee was fantastic, room was spacious. Cons: housekeeping scheduling issue, one of the tv remotes did not work, and the television in the living area of the room was very dim and there was no way to change……

“The room didn't look at all like what was advertised. We purchased a King room, and were put in a King ADA room, which had not been remodeled. The wheel in tile shower had molded grout, there were cracked floor tile and uneven floors in the bathroom. One bathroom light didn't work at all. The room door didn't lock. We had to shoulder push in the door and lift it to get it to lock. No one on site to look at it or fix it....Just the front desk agent. She took our number and said she would……

“This hotel was ok. Our queen suite was very roomy. Travelling with 2 adults, 2 teens. Hotel could have used a bit of updating…..room doors need painting, our tub floor was discoloured. But most was clean. Pool is small, not very deep, hot tub was out of order. As many of hotels now have a complimentary free breakfast, this one didn’t. We noticed no one in the restaurant. They had complimentary coffee, but not very much.”

“The bed was comfortable. The shower was very good. We had a one bedroom suite, nicely decorated and plenty of room. Plenty of parking. Breakfast is the main reason fir a lower score. Day one, burned eggs, inedible. Second day, just as bad, plus a second egg dish that looked terrible. Third day we didn't even go down for breakfast . Fourth day, we left the night before and didn't check out until I called from home at 11 am to checkout. I figured I'd have to go round and round with……
