Excellent service with friendly cozy environment
Staying at Hotel West has been one of the pleasant experience with EU hotels. It offers nice, friendly and home-like settings, nice breakfast and great transporting location. Although the front desk is not 24hrs, with normal working schedule on a business trip it didn't bother me at all. And I can't show enough appreciation to the help extended by the hotel staff, especially Jorg the manager. I visited the city this time for a trade show, and one of the packages mailed ahead was delayed by DHL. Jorg really went out of his way to help me get the package delivered, despite it arrived late. At checking out, he also helped me to send a package returning to my home office. It really helped a lot for I was doing another overlay trip. Will surely stay there next time! And thank you all the great staff at Hotel West.

Etwas überlebter Standard. Logis nur bei Vorkasse.
Da es wenige Optionen aufgrund einer Messe in Ffm gab, habe ich erstmalig hier reserviert. Das Hotel ist wohl ein umgebautes, älteres Mehrfamilienhaus. Das Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber, aber auch durchaus schon ein paar Jahre in diesem Zustand. Die Fenster konnte man nicht recht verdunkeln. Der Preis war letztlich zu hoch, wenngleich Messezeit war. Die Summe musste ich vorab überweisen, was doch sehr ungewöhnlich ist. Der Service war freundlich.

Unser Hotel mit 10 Zimmer befindet sich in einem Stadthaus aus dem Jahre 1892. Wir renovieren unsere Zimmer in regelmäßigen abständen. Unsere Deluxe Zimmer haben wir letztes Jahr renoviert. Alle Fenster im Hause haben Elektrische Rollläden um die Zimmer komplett zu verdunkeln. Die Schalter befinden sich in den Fensternischen, möglicherweise haben Sie diese wegen der Gardiene übersehen.Bitte haben Sie Verständnis, dass unsere Preise während der Messezeiten leicht ansteigen können, um den erhöhten Geschäftsbetrieb zu decken. Bezüglich der Vorab-Überweisung, das ist eine Standardprozedur in unserer Branche, wir entschuldigen uns, wenn dies für Unannehmlichkeiten gesorgt hat.Ihr Feedback ist uns sehr wichtig und hilft uns dabei, unseren Service stets zu verbessern. Wir hoffen, dass wir Sie trotz der genannten Punkte bald wieder bei uns im Hotel West begrüßen dürfen.

Nice place
Cozy hotel with spacious rooms, we had a pleasant stay. I do wish the on site parking were more convenient and bigger in space, we ended up using the parking garage around the corner because the on site spots were too narrow. The location is very convenient, around lots of cafes and restaurants

I stayed here because I was looking for a hotel close to the book fair. It was perfect. Clean, nice and very friendly. Walking distance to the fair which is perfect. Everyone was lovely and helpful. I will be back next year and will recommend to my publishing friends in NYC and London. thank you.

Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast, location and service. The only down sides were the early morning street noise and the fact that our fridge was broken and didn't get fixed or replaced during our stay.

Excellent hotel, well-located, quiet.
Nice hotel- small but clean and staff were super friendly- The staff allowed us to leave the car behind the hotel which made it much easier. Breakfast was great. Only issue was the pillow- next time I will bring my own!

Besser konnte unser Frankfurtaufenthalt nicht beginnen! Trotz vorzeitiger Anreise ein freundlicher und schneller Check-in in ein sehr gepflegtes Doppelzimmer. Informationsmaterial (Karten, Veransaltungshinweise usw.) und kleine Leckereien sowie ein Parkplatz ! erwarteten uns. Nach einem langen Tag in Frankfurt schliefen wir gut und ohne lästige Geräusche (Pokalsieg der Frankfurter Eintracht mit anschl. Feuerwerk und Autocorso). Das Frühstücksbufett, der Frühstückskaffee, der schöne und helle Frühstücksraum aber, vor allem die freundliche Bedienung rundeten diesen Aufenthalt in Frankfurt ab. Vielen Dank!

A great room, I really liked it, a small studio type feel. Good location and the staff were really nice. But the walls were thin and I could hear the room next doors TV all night, for 2 nights, so I didn't get a good nights sleep.

小さいけど駅からも近く快適なホテル
フランクフルトから地下鉄で二駅。地下鉄の駅からも近い。駅周辺にはスーパーもあり買い物も便利。ホテルは清潔感あり快適。ただエレベーターが無いので上の階だと荷物を持っての昇降は厳しいかも。

Für kürzere Aufenthalte sehr zu empfehlen
Ein zentral in der Nähe einer Einkaufstraße gelegenes Hotel. Wenn man ein Zimmer zum Hinterhof erhält, ist von dem Straßenlärm kaum etwas zu hören. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sauber. Das Serviceteam ist sehr freundlich.

Muy buen hotel y servicio
Excelente servicio, el check-in era hasta las 10pm pero llegamos tarde, el administrador deja el numero de contacto y las llaves bajo una cajuela con clave que nos permtio no perder la reserva! Ese detalle y el tamaño y comodidad de la habitación fue muy bueno. Recomendacion, se deberia incluir aire acondicionado en las habitaciones.

A pleasant surprise...
Front desk attendant, Nadia, was very helpful with everything. She made it more pleasant for us non-German speakers by help with parking, directions, general info. etc. Hotel was clean and sparkly, bed comfy, and had better pillows than most places! It was a pleasant surprise.

Wonderful little place!
Just a block away from an eclectic shopping street, Hotel West is in a quiet neighborhood and is easy to find. Take Tram 16 or U-4 (in which case take the Bockheim Depot exit). Look for the old tower. Close to it is a yellow Commerz Bank sign. The hotel is right next to it.

Quiet, Clean and Comfortable
A wonderful place to stay. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. The desk clerk spoke excellent English and gave very good advice about how to get around. The place is not hard to find, at least if you get off at the right exit on the U4 (just two stops from the HBF--Frankfurt's main rail station). (Hint: look for the "Bockenheim Depot/University Bibliotek sign. If you see the old tower, head toward it. On your left you'll see a yellow Commerz Bank sign. The hotel is to its left. Alternatively, tram 16 to Bockenheim station takes you to a stop just catty-corner to the hotel.) The neighborhood is nice, and there is a long shopping street just north of the hotel, easily visible, with good restaurants, mostly ethnic, cheaper than American ones.

In allen Details dieses Hotels merkt man, dass hier mit Augenmaß und Sorgfalt gehandelt wird. Ein schöner Altbau (von Innen). Sehr saubere, stimmig eingerichtete Zimmer. Alles ist da, wo man es benötigt. In guter Qualität (Hygieneartikel), Sauber (alles!). Der Frühstücksraum ist stilvoll eingerichtet - unbedingt mitbuchen. Preis-Leistung kann ich nur als Sehr gut bezeichnen. Umgebung: überraschend ruhig (besonders natürlich zum Innenhof).

Nice hotel close to metro and university.
Easy to find from metro. Quiet street. Desk clerk stored my luggage and gave me room key early, as I arrived well before check-in (3pm). Good breakfast selection. Nice service staff. Good sized and very clean room. Was happy to return for a second stay.

Best hotel with good price
It was really excellent. The transformation to the old town as well as the main station was great. It was just five minutes away from these locations, and the metro station was just right near the hotel. There was a nice restaurant/pub in front of the hotel, which opens till very late in the evening but crowded with nice peoples. Next time when I travel to Frankfurt, this is the definitely choice of mine.
