「Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.」

「We had a wonderful stay! The innkeepers were so friendly and helpful. It was fun to learn the history of the house, especially since the were so into the history. Donnie is an excellent chef and made a wonderful breakfast for us. We were only there for one night since we were visiting our son and he only had one day off. We came from Southern California and stayed here in between DC and Manhattan while in town for my son’s lacrosse tournament, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip.
